Just stop everyone else...35+ for him is a monty.
. He replaces an injured Pedlar who in in 7 full games this year has averaged 7.1 disposals per game in 65.5% ToG He has kicked 9 goals which was boosted by 3 goals last week against the bottom team. Sadly this superstar is injured again. The only other player who has played forward in the AFL is that ball magnet Brayden Cook. In his 3 games playing a combination of wing and half forward he has racked up 6 disposals a game in 56.7% ToG. To be fair, his one touch in 3 quarters against Hawthorn dragged down his average.Log in to remove this Banner Ad
I was just thinking that, I think it comes down to a 14-15% margin between us, GC and Hawthorn.Top 4 is a lock for us now, thats a box ticked
If we are to win tonight, a BIG IF, it will be because of our elite players not the 22nd and 23rd man selected this year.
I officially gave up on Harry last year when he insisted on kicking the ball with his ankle. Nevertheless he has played well in the SANFL this year so I am hopeful he will match the efforts of our previous Subs. Sadly, with the exception of Berry earlier in the season, our Subs have done SFA. Chayce has been Sub for the last 5 matches and has averaged 49.3% ToG (is he responsible for all the recent injuries?) and has averaged 4 kicks and 2 handballs per game. I would have selected Dowling or Draper as the Sub but neither are likely to be game changers.
Then there’s Lachie xxxxin Murphy. He replaces an injured Pedlar who in in 7 full games this year has averaged 7.1 disposals per game in 65.5% ToG He has kicked 9 goals which was boosted by 3 goals last week against the bottom team. I would have rolled the dice and played Dowling forward and Draper as Sub (or vice versa) but I greatly doubt that the result will hinge on our last two selections.
As long as we don’t let Daicos have a ridiculous game we will win.
Pedlar ??Don’t be another one bagging Pedlar, he absolutely will come good and be damaging for us. Riddled with injury and finally starting to put a few games together. Has a much higher ceiling than the others mentioned. We could have given up on Taylor after his string of poor performances, but we stuck with him and what do you know, he was in our top 5 last week. Pedlar just needs to believe, which he was just starting to do. Agree Dowling should have played, Murphy’s delisting can’t come quick enough.
They will be, someone has to sit out of the SANFLNo burgess in the sanfl. Hope our three tall forwards are all good to go.
Pedlar ??
Nah hes on edge. Kicked 3 last week but was non existent in the 2nd half. And now hes injured..... again.

Hey, they had the impregnable Maginot Line. Not their fault the Germans went around itI guess the problem was the Germans pretty much rolled straight through France to Paris
Anyway, go Crow's
So Murphy is 7th?Bagging Pedlar???
He is sixth in line as a medium/small forward imho.
Assuming Rankine plays as a hybrid midfielder/forward my order is
Rankine - Rachele - Keays - ABN …………. then Taylor - Pedlar…………………………………………………… take your pick of the rest.
Sadly with Rachele and Pedlar missing we don’t have much left.

Welp took a gamble and booked transport and accom for grand final weekend.
Apologies in advance for jinxing everything.
We will be watching this from the lounge at Heathrow before flying out to DC. Quite good timing. Go Crows!

We'll show them. Especially for that purple monkey dishwasher remarkThere’s a comment from the oppo board. “Cheese eating surrender monkeys” that comment is not just aimed at the Collingwood faithless but directed at our boards lack of confidence in tonight’s result.
I never understood the “cheese” reference but “ surrender monkeys” is totally appropriate.
I like cheese and will be imbibing while savouring a solid victory.
