With no signs of improvement it is better to go now while finals are not out of the equation and the new coach will have basically a whole season to try to get there.
I’m not disagreeing with you at all. I think he should have gone end of season but just seemed pointless giving him a pre-season and then giving him two games.

As we’ve seen with Nottingham Forest, you need the right players to fit the right style and systems. If we had of signed Aloisi earlier for example, then he could have drilled his philosophy into the squad.

Now they have to try and change and adapt which is more likely to have teething problems.

From what I read today it is more likely to be Kisnorbo than Aloisi. Apparently he is waiting for one of Victory or City to come calling.
Who could blame him? We are a basket case. I can’t see us getting anyone international and even high profile Australian coaches aren’t keen unless they are desperate. Almost worth taking a punt on someone local.

Why is the fan support of the Glory so splintered? It's one thing that has always bothered me. I see stuff on social media from Far Post Perth and there is the FRG, Glory Shed Supporters Club, Shed End Perth etc. For a team that only gets 5,000 - 10,000 people to each game the support has seemed unnecessarily fractured for years.

It isn't but I can see why it might seem that way.

The Far Post Perth is not a supporters group and not just about Glory. It is a news page that cover the sport in WA (including state league and NPL) as well as the rest of the A-League. Their aim is to be a sort of one stop shop for all news about the sport in WA.

The GSSC is a supporters club for the Shed. They mainly organise the pre-match and away telecast venue and the yearly Tour of Duty away trip.

Shed End Perth as far as I am aware came out of the old GFU which splintered from the GSSC years ago when the active support left the shed and went to the other side of the ground. Since the shed is 18+, the shed end group are more the kids and teens that congregate in front of the shed but are too young to go in there.

The FRG is the Fan Representative Group. They are an elected group of supporters that meet with the club and discuss any issues that might have popped up related to anything from the performances on the pitch to fan issues at the ground.
