Are you for real?...
Just because Stevie J has won more premierships than Daicos it doesn't mean he is better, by that logic Chris Dawes is better than Nick Riewoldt or Matthew Pavlich.
Geez the way people hype disco daicos up is quite comedic. He wasn't that good.
Yep, he was a magnificent mover and a great mark as a young bloke, but behind Maurice Rioli as a centreman for mine. No shame in that, so's everyone else.Daicos is underrated, not overrated.
I remember him as an 18 year old when he started as a centreman. He's arguably still the best centreman I've ever seen. People are either too young, or just forget how good he was as a mid, before he was parked more permanently as a forward as injuries took their toll.
A star.
If he keeps up this current form all season long and takes home a few more awards (perhaps Charlie), it's not ridiculous at all to suggest he's the equal of Peter Daicos.
People need to remember the goals Daicos kicked were at a time where it hadn't been seen like that before. These days, you see a Stevie J esque snap or dribble in every game, not always by the same player but there are a heap of modern footballers who can work the ball well now.
Daicos was before my time and yes he was the kick starter so to speak when it comes to freakish snap goals that most players these days can emulate, but I wonder how Daicos would have gone under perfect still conditions under the roof? I mean if he was that good in questionable conditions back in the day imiagen how much more effective he'd be now.People need to remember the goals Daicos kicked were at a time where it hadn't been seen like that before. Not even close.Daicos was very unlucky to not be named in the team of the century. He was a magnificent player.

I go off. You're always such a positive poster. What a ripping root you would be.

Daicos 20 & 3'd a total of twenty times throughout his 250 game career.
Johnson has 20 & 3'd a total of thirty times throughout his 222 game career.
If anything, Johnson is still a very underrated footballer and has been for a very long time now. Even Ablett Junior hasn't 20 & 3'd anywhere near that tally just yet.
Daics kicked 6 or more goals a total of 23 times in 250 games. Johnson has done it 8 times!Daicos 20 & 3'd a total of twenty times throughout his 250 game career.
