Just curious as to what you would think the crows would require from the blues for pick 10

As a starting offer, perhaps russell+pick 20 for 10?

Russell (188cm midfielder) being a SA who wanted to go home last year - was pick 9 in 2004 and has played 29 games in the past 3 years (1 in yr 1, 10 in yr 2, 18 in yr 3)

Just looking at alternative top 10 picks for the judd trade :)

Hudson, Meesen and pick 10 for Gibbs.

you know that there is no chance of that happening. So long as gibbs is under contract the blues are unlikely to entertain offers for him

It would be a trade involving Gibbs, or nothing as far as Pick 10 is concerned.

As for Russell, no interest. We've already got one Jericho, we don't need MK II.

You can give us Fevola and Gibbs for pick ten.

I recon we'll trade Hudson & Pick 10 for pick 5 hopefully
Rocket said today that pick 5 will not be going anywhere. They can get Hudson for free, they are not going to volunteer to go 5 places lower in the draft because they are good blokes... although it would be nice!!:)

Meesen, Jericho and pick 10 to Carlton for Gibbs:thumbsu:

I don't think Richmond, Carlton or Melbourne will allow Huddo pass for free...WB will have to come to the party with something decent.

The Bulldogs ruck stakes are thin++++ They need Huddo and every chance Carlton/Richmond would grab him in PSD. I think they need to offer us a fair trade, they are desperate for a ruckmen. If they get too cocky I can sense another bad year for them, perhaps with everyone <5'9 apart from Harris

Messen though.. hard to see us getting much for him. I suppose Daniel Bell no chance?

I don't think any of them would be interested, but I hope I'm wrong. Losing him for free would suck.

If ruckmen are the order of the day in the PSD (which seems to be the case at the moment) I think it will be like this:

Richmond - Cameron Wood
Carlton - More likely Meesen but i still don't think so, probably a Back.
Melbourne - Meesen
Dogs - Huddo = for free.

Somebody mentioned in another thread that Ebert may slide to 10th. I think this may be a possibility. Does anybody know how he went at draft camp and how they think it may shape his position in the draft. With what has been happening in relation to the go home factor, teams may opt for local talent.

While he was at the draft camp, I don't think he participated due to injury.

He'll go close to sliding down to 10 IMO, but if he doesn't I'd be happy to pocket Cyril Rioli.

What about David Myers? Hearing a LOT of good things about him. Now that we don't have matter running off half back, Myers could be the man, just imagine the half back line, Pfeiffer, Bock and Myers. Oh that would be one hell of a set up for us in 2 years time. Also Myer can play in the midfeild or as a utility on the wing. Good times at pick 10 (hopefully).
