Get Detective Ford Fairlane on the case he can sniff out a Crows flog like no other.

I heard the rumour came from a crows podcast hosted by two guys, Neil and Bob. Don't know if that was their names or what they did. Snapperheads.

You dont run on your hands..!!

But also apparently he was genuinely very crook when he missed that hawthorn game (which sadly impacted him and the club alot more than anyone was anticipating).
Still have to handball with your hands. And with the way we play, his hand would get destroyed.

Well the thread on the main board is gone, where someone posted screenshots of the guy emailing Tom Morris. Had his name for all to see. His socials and linked in profile deleted…. Make of that what you will.

These things never disappear from cyberspace. Hopefully details will be forwarded to the relevant people who can act on this unconscionable filth.

Impressed that he did address it. He obviously agreed (or more to the point requested) to discuss it with Cornes.

Was well handled.

The other three things in that interview that resonated positively with me were:
1. Carr sees football differently to Hinkley and will institute a different style of play
2. There will be considerable player movements at the end of the year
3. Carr favours using him in defence

All sounds pretty good to me. Point 3 is ok too, assuming that Bergman moves into the midfield more permanently and even better if NWM is part of that rotation also.

Considerable player movements is interesting.
Considerable de-listings one could hope.

Yes hopefully the AFL integrity unit look into it properly. Remember the rumours spread about Boak and Hartlett years back when Boak was captain. Scum.
I mean there was at least something tangible that sparked those rumours off, whether true or not.

This was literally just someone taking a picture of a phone with text on it.

If he flies and it comes out the back, there is no one on the ground for that.

In reality, he should not have been left to take Pearce in that situation. Freo did well to get the mismatch. We did nothing to prevent it.

Comes back to onfield leadership and structure.

Ideally you have that (190cm plus) winger in that position or the extra tall pushing back and rely on pace to move the ball forward. Doesn't help when Lucosious is injured as thats most likely where he goes.

AFL will do nothing and the people responsible won't cop any sort of meaningful punishment. I'm surprised he came out and spoke about it though

What exactly did he say about "considerable player movement"? Given we want Nas, that suggests not only delistings but significant trades.
I may not have got the wording exactly right but my inference was that there would be quite a lot of changes to the playing list.

He was asked about his involvement in luring NWM and said it was minimal. He pointed out NWM’s friendship with Jase and JHF, and while he noted that players reaching out to prospective recruits plays a small part if any, he did reflect on his friendship with Lukosius and getting him here.

Agree. My complaints for sometime have been about the absence of structure. You are right about onfield leadership too but I'm willing to give the players a pass on that at the moment as I suspect that's because Hinkley has coached that out of them. If its absence continues under Carr, I'll reassess.
