Coffield was so yesterday, now it’s big Red the Ed
This sums up what I find amusing about so much of this talk; players (who haven't played a game in months) are able to rise/fall dramatically in the 'rankings' in the space of a week or so!!

Look on the bright side. In 48 hours he’ll be nothing other than the enemy to us and I couldn’t be more thankful. I’m tired of hearing about him given 6 is too early and 38 way to late!

Based off What?

Because his draft range is 10-20! We aren’t selecting him it’s just click bait to suck in the sentimentalists amongst us. Our selection is almost certainly coming from Fogarty, Naughton and anyone that drops from the top 5. If you want a smokey Murphy’s your man, but he’s long long odds.

Not as good a player that you would spend pick 6 on.
To be honest neither should we.

Hey. I don't work at the Club and I don't know how they Rate there Players

For me it is Fogarty or bust. The only way I will accept us not picking him if he is taken earlier.

I have a feeling we will try and be smart and pick some smoky. However I think that would be a grave error. This is a big call but I think Fogarty will be the best player out of this draft, maybe not initially but eventually.

Couldn't agree more mate :thumbsu:

Yeah if Darcy is there at 6 we should take him.

Tonight for me it’s a bit of fun. I think the top six spots could be filled by around 8 -9 kids, and young Richards is not one of them.
This draft is very even so anything could happen

Has anyone seen the photo of H̶e̶a̶t̶h̶ ̶S̶h̶a̶w̶ Oskar Baker?

I could actually see Shaw after he's been given his marching orders from GWS, putting on a dodgy wig and trying to weasel his way back on to a list under the guise of a new draftee.

I know dave. Some of us are not to serious tonight and talking up kids, and are having fun doing so.
Love to have Richards at our club, but not at six. It is one of the reasons l wanted to get more picks in later in the first. To get kids like Bonar and Richards. There some good kids there, and a club will take a risk and get one.

Would be funny to see.

I think I am less sure who we will pick at 6 than I was a week ago. In fact, I have all but lost interest in the predictions of phantom drafters, footy scribes, online experts and fellow posters. I no longer have an opinion, though I do have a mental list of a few players I don't want us to take.

Everyone of the players likely to be available to us lacks some quality you'd like him to have. Whoever we draft will not tick all the boxes, only some or most of them. Because they all have deficiencies and perhaps have ceilings lower than desirable for such high picks, no one is really screaming 'Pick me! Pick me!' Hence the endless procession of candidates presented by posters for pick 6 consideration.

So given that the draft is only 2 nights away now, I am happy to gloss over the recommendations, re-recommendations, guesses, stabs in the dark, attempts to troll and even the pomposity of one or two regulars, and just bide my time till the official announcement comes from our table of draft selectors. Then I will similarly gloss over the 'Hine Special' and 'In Hine we trust' sentiments of the usual sycophants after the selection.

For the sake of the club and supporters, I just hope that Hine and co. pick someone who truly deserves selection at pick 6. Someone who in a year's time, has not spent the majority of his AFL career in rehab, but has actually played good consistent football at VFL or AFL level. Someone good who looks a certain best 22 in 2019.

Brander. We need a key forward.

There are a few that are worthy of pick6, as to the rest of your hopes that would be had to do.
Any way who do you not want.
As for me there are a few l like so be happy with any one
