Cameron Ling over Andrew Embley - Ling because of his leadership and consistency.

Nick Dal Santo over Ben Cousins - Not only for the youth factor, but that I think Dal Santo is still improving.

Darren Glass over Leo Barry - He's got the height to play on all forwards. Doesn't provide the same drive, but shuts his man down.

Ben Rutten over Dustin Fletcher - He's younger and by last seasons form, better.

Matty Scarlett over Adam McPhee - Scarlett is a premier full back, and while McPhee is good, Scarlett is more important to a side.

Luke Hodge over David Wirrpunda - I just think Hodge is better.

Jonathon Brown over Barry Hall - A better big game performer, and a more versatile player.

Matthew Pavlich over Warren Tredrea - See "Brown over Hall"

Stephen Milne over Mark Williams - Stephen Milne actually kicks goals from crumbing, while Williams needs to be the focal point of a forward line to kick goals.

Robert Murphy over Ryan O'Keefe - I just think Murphy is a classier and more consistent player.

Scott Welsh over Michael O'Loughlin - O'Loughlin is superior, but he's older and has an injury history, so I have to go with Welsh.

I have to agree with part of your argument but against it in another sense.
Agreed Hall does have the runs on the board.

But.....the question posed was - who would you rather. My answer was Brown because he has more time left in his career and at the same age Hall wasn't the player Brown is today. So I would rather Brown because of that potential and time on his side.
