Jarryd Blair this week would be my choice.
I think the sub is better when he has the ability to play both forward (or back) and in the midfield, and Blair can do this.
Plus he has only played in patches the first few weeks anyway (had a great first quarter last week).

I know it wouldn't matter, but Blair was named fourth on the bench so I figured he would be the sub. Would make a good one. Davis will be needing game time so I'd say he'll start on the field.

Beams has been going very well. 20+ possies and goals 2 weeks in a row and averaging career highs in tackles.
He comes into the middle when bally needs a spell and we hardly miss a beat. Wellinghams pace will trouble the ploddish looking carlton midfield outside of Judd.
It's Blair, Sidey or Davis for me but Leon has killed carlton over the past few years and I expect him to play.
Blairy unlucky but most of these types of guys will get a go at the sub. Does the sub normally come from your named bench players?? I haven't kept a close eye out. If yes, Sidey may be sub.

Doubt it will be Wellingham, he will surely be used to play the role on Judd he did so well last time.
Probably Davis, bring him on during the 3rd or early in the 4th when we are 10 goals ahead so he can run rampant.

I would think Johnson will get him if we go with a hard tag? He's got a reasonable history on him. Am I wrong?
Would think Johnson may tag Judd and then if they do that I'm not sure he'd be already eyed off as being replaced. I don't think Mick decides who'll come off because of the chance of injury.

First game was a little down but definitely not last week, he was super. I almost wish Sidey didn't play for Collingwood because he doesn't get treated like a Collingwood player on this site.

Very big fan of Rusty - I agree that he doesn't get a fair go on BigFooty. There were plenty of people on here last year during finals saying that he should be dropped as well.
BigFooty isn't a great representation of the entire supporter group though. I've seen plenty of fans at games wearing the number 22.
Having said that I'm sure Steele is loving his time at Collingwood and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Yeah I'm just a bit moody, a bit edgy atm. I want the game to start and I want us to smack the crap out of Carlton and keep them quiet for a little while.
I wasn't a huge Tony Shaw fan and definitely don't like the way he has represented us in the media so I never liked the 22 much but I'm all for it now.
I get a little defensive on him and I had a go at a guy last year wanting him out of our team for the finals!

Side note TwisTz, the OKC Thunder remind me a little of Collingwood last year, people said too young to step up. I hope they win it this year.
