Picks 16 & 32, plus Charlie Gardiner and Corey Enright

Question of the day.

This has been bugging me for a few weeks now and I want to know what the rest of the Richmond fans think.

Do you guys think, it will be good to get Matthew Knights as an assistant coach for next season??

He has quit Port Adelaide..... and it would be awesome if he came back on board with the tigers, to help us rebuild.

I think with him being added to the coaching list, it would boost our membership massively. I already think with Wallace on board, people can see a bright future for us, but with Knights I think it would be brighter, lets me know what you guys think.

Just a question Tigers fans, if Spin Shyte Miller came out 2moro and said that deal had been agreed to. The deal being 16, 32, Enright and Gardiner for Ottens would you be satisfied or would you feel shafted? Could this be the make up of a real deal? OR would you still want more?

I'd be most satisfied.This is a very fair deal.If either Gardiner or Enright could be on traded to upgrade one of the picks that would be good too.Personally I don't think it's necessary.

There is a good players at pick 16 and fairly likely a good player at 32.

A deal like this gives us what we lack most.Depth.

This might sound a little stupid.. I was just thinking, if Ottens was thinking of going back home to Adelaide. We could grab their pick and Ken McGregor? Richmond do need a good defender or do we just let time take its place and get Daniel Jackson doing what Leppa does for Brisbane in a few years?

Worse picks worse players for a better player, oh, and he doesnt wanna leave. There is nothing in that deal that doesnt top Geelongs deal and you know it. Except King being a better player than Ottens.

I would prefer two first round d/picks . No offence to both Enright and Gardiner but i am tired of picking up players from other clubs . I think that the best way to do it would be to do as you guys have done and build it from the ground up .

IMO , more often than not a player loses a little bit of the fire in the belly when they are traded , particularily when it is not of thier instigation .

I really believe you are going to have to get someone elses first rnd. pick as well as yours and on trade it to us for Ottens ..... somehow
