Picks 3 & 5

Just interested in other fans thoughts, are picks 3 & 5 available for trade?

I'm worried ND might look for short term answers to save his own neck by trading with picks 3 & 5.

I personally would not like to see these picks offered up unless a player is available that ABSOLUTELY fits our needs, not just a big name for the sake of it, ala Nathan Brown.

Pick 5 may be used as a bit of bait but I'd be shattered to see us give up 3.
Nathan Brown might be handy but is it going to solve the problems?
We need a player or two with a bit of flair (FARMER? ALLAN JAKOVICH?) and a defender (JON HAY???) with a touch more class than Nicholson.

Can't see where Brown "absolutely" fits our needs, still a gun player mind. If the price was right...

You are right though, we gotta keep those picks unless we dead set stiff a club like we did Geelong for Bizzell.

No, that's not right. Geelong got James Kelly, who according to them will be as good as Michael Voss.

no.3 should definitely be kept, but it wouldnt surprise me if ND did what you suggested and trade pick 5 for a quick fix to save himself. the name nick stevens springs to mind...
