waste of time predicting these things i believe, noone has ever been right except for the wooden spoon call each year now come on guys how do you think the u fans and supporters players etc would feel you always putting these here in forum? erase this honestly every one has there different opinions, for 1 robinson is not loyal who was his first club, and played at quite a few clubs there after??? plenty of guys around that have been with there clubs all there lives that people on here wouldnt get that to me is loyalty, 2 strathy will be there abouts as 5 to 6 others will be 3 the u may and sounds like they are turning things around. 4 does anyone know what jerilderie have been up to in off season? may not slide, 5 look at deni for instance maybe not of had a dominant forward man but had 3 or 4 go to guys roughly kicked there 50 60 goals who were nearly underfeated all year, you dont need a power forward in this league,6 cooper i rate very highly so does our full forward ian phillips who has played alot of footy in his time, as does our new big forward brody lumber think his highly rated from past experiences with him dont think his under rated at all,7 bode gets shitty alot of the time dont get me wrong can play but far from one of the toughest in the league as for taylor different story can say i have had a few run ins with him and i believe he aint the macho man he looks.can say i have played on both and can play on there day. 8 league medal could be won by anyone its very similar to a home club vote count in previous years i have seen people get more votes at league level then there club????? andrew may got the 3 votes the day we beat rovers quite easily out at home and i could of struggled to count his possesions on both hands with kieth sheltons fingers, mind you he has two little fingers chopped off haha but not taking that away from him can play on his day also just using that as an example. any way i guess every one can have there say on here but just think of the league as a whole each team has there hard nuts power forwards etc but dont make a mockery of all the people you guys do and do not put on here. just my opinion thats all.

Heath Fox would be a welcome addition to any side. Great through the centre. Great pick up!

Gm, you obviously don't rate Robbo as loyal nor Taylor or bode as a tough opponent , so who would you consider the most loyal and toughest opponent ?
I'm not sure what you meant with Cooper or goal kicking as I agree with you on both points ! Cooper a very good players and clubs will have multiple 40-50 goal kickers !
As for league B&F , sure sometimes players may poll better than the general public may assume, but the question was who do you think will win it ?
Jerilderie , the league website has quite a few players of their better players as cleared elsewhere with minimal incoming clearances ?
Who do you think will be biggest slider ?
Wunghnu , I think they have come a long long way , which is fantastic and I have been a big supporter of , I think they will make a big improvement but it's an opinion , who do you think will finish bottom ?
Plenty have done a predicted ladder and they all obviously had someone finishing bottom ?
It's an opinion which everyone has !

They didn't have their full side for the most part of the year, unlucky not to beat Berrigan in final who inturn lost the GF in the last kick of the day and yes a lot of unlucky, nearly's etc but they had a lot of things not go their way injury wise, and only have to have a bit better run and will be big improvers !!
The loss of trennary may hurt !

dont think played too many games last year but will be a very good inclusion for yarra.
i see alan richardson has put in a clearance too which will hurt.

obviously you dont, every one actually rates him, his not an under rated player every one knows his good and so does he himself..
gman under rated means that ppls opinion of the talent of a player is much less than that players actual ability. so to say cooper is under rated is to say that he has far more talent than he is given credit for by others. which i would have thought was complimentary. personally i think lumber has great potential and is a good pick up for you and should develop into a good player.

what im saying is people do give him credit he is far from under rated he is rated as possibly the best full back i dont think you understand this you are to far down behind play to realise haha

There is a great feel at Wunghnu at the moment, there is only one-way we can go and its up we have some handy players coming into the club and we have had great numbers on the track.

Robbo has been very loyal to Rovers. Has taken over as coach on 2 occasions when the club was in a bad situation with coached resigned mid season. He brings a car load from Echuca every week and for what he is paid wouldnt even cover his fuel.
There would be plenty of examples around the league for loyal players but Benji Hardman would be up there. Other than half a season at Nullawil has played all his footy at Rovers. Has been offered huge money almost every year to go else where but has always stayed at Rovers and never been paid.

thats what im getting at there cm loyal to me is someone like your benji's who stay at one club most there lives most the guys at mathoura have played almost all there footy here select few have gone else where and decided to come back, some haven't come back but i still dont class that as loyal when they do after 3 or 4 yrs. in saying that i love that players do come back just shows your running an excellent club i spose:thumbsu: we have had guys come back after 5 6 yrs even a few 9 10 yrs away from club and when we didnt have good numbers we had a guy come back and play after 25 yrs stuffing around in the 2's..

Chasing info on B. Purcell and Whitty cleared to hume league, where do they play and will they be any good?

Both handy players. Purcell plays half forward half back. Whitty 6ft3 runs like the wind and plays fullback but could play CHB.

Can be no argument that a blokes like Benji who turn away money each year to continue playing with their club are loyal.

All teams would have players in the same situation but i will use Robbo as the example.

The bloke has been at the club for 7 plus years, travelling each week for pre-season, training and games and is more often than not accompanied be his family. Money can not be the incentive, Robbo would without doubt spend more than goes into his pocket at the club each week.

Robbo has friends that play in Echuca and i would imagine has been asked many times to play with clubs there, but continues to make the trip.

To automatically exclude blokes like Robbo because they have played at multiple clubs, or because they are not playing at their original club cant be right.

I am not suggesting you have to make the bloke a local, we all know that is a right of birth or twenty years service or if you buy a pub in town, but we could probably call blokes like Robbo loyal to their footy club.

"Toughest bloke in the league:most of our side" Gorillaman

Tough.... is that what you call it??? hah haha Dont get your nickers in a twist GM new year new start and all that.

So from what I can tell most clubs have either broken even or gone backwards on the recruiting front. Perhaps Yarroweyah are on the up what the mail on Berrigaan ???

(ha ha berrigAAn good dam bitch threw one of the best maybee for another forum)

How are Strathy looking Intimidator? Lost any? Picked up a few?

Should be a pretty close comp, Berrigan favourites for mine at this stage, haven't heard much from them but don't seem to have lost many, if any at all.

Mathoura should be close again, depends if the blokes rumoured to have gone, actually have?

Jerilderie the big slider, rumoured to have 14 gone from last years side, will need to recruit well, but not many ins on the website.

Not long to go.
