For what it is worth on such hypothetical discussions, I would prefer Ash over Danger and Trelor for the simple fact we will not pay overs for him, leaving salary space for existing talent and other trade prospects . Loving that Brisbane are now at odds with Ash and it seems to be affecting his game. Would love it if we picked Ash up for a double digit draft pick. That would be super!

Can never have to much talent on your list. If we can get him at the right price (late first round or a player like kennedy who we have enough of (small mid) and late draft pick then great. May help to convince shaz to sign longer term as they are great mates.

Perhaps this underlies the reason for our enthusiasm

I have never wanted Aish. Don't rate him at all and he would cost a lot.

We don't need another midfielder, our midfielders are developing well and we have more good young boys in the VFL waiting for their turn.

What we need is a key forward or a solid half back flanker that can use the ball well like Oxley but even for that we have Scharenberg and he will get his chance soon.

The only midfielder I would go after is Dangerfield because he is a star and not some young overrated player who will cost a lot for a position we are going to be fine in.

Aish will explode and flourish once he gets to a decent club. Hope it's with us. Would be happy to hand over our first round pick for him (say pick 12), but not much else...

Everyone looks 10 times better in a Pies jumper

This guy was just 10 times a better player in a pies jumper.

If we could somehow do Oxley and swap of picks he would be an excellent acquisition to the list. He will be a very good player.
Oxley is going great guns and Aisho barely getting a game. Pass on that one Oxley as it sits has huge upside with a couple of years under his belt.

Straight swap or GTFO IMO

The thing with Pendlebury is you know he isn't going to loose his pace.
Yes but the percentage players suffer soft tissue injuries after 30 is high or any injury for that matter. Saying someone will play until 35 just because theyre a star is big call. Pendlebury might but we couldn't rely on that.

I don't see the upside at all, I think he'll be much the same player and in a position where we have lots of competition he's expendable in my eyes. Don't get me wrong he's a good player I just feel he'll end up depth as we have better options.
