You don't happen to have her number do you?Jared Polec has just started going out with a chick that went to my school here in Melbourne (yes she's insanely hot).
Wonder if it will sway him towards coming to Victoria instead. Worth a look?

Still no news on Chapman? only a couple of days left for the deadline.
Yeah as far as I was aware the Delisted Free Agents system kicks off from Nov 1st, so we can't technically sign him up as a DFA until after that date? Not 100% sure so please correct me if I'm wrong??

Geelong offered him a contract didn't they?
So technically, he's not a delisted free agent.
In any case, some official clarification would be good.
wrong

No Geelong gave him the arse.Geelong offered him a contract didn't they?

No Geelong gave him the arse.
If they offered him a contract we wouldn't be discussing him.

They did offer him a contract, but it was only reflective of him playing 10 games over one year so he said no.
Oh, did they? I was unaware of that. I assume they are still eligible for DFA, seeing as they are listed as "delisted" on the league website.
After he rejected it, the Cats did him the courtesy of allowing him to move as a DFA as well as a UFA.
Yes that's correct, so now we are allowed to talk to him & offer him a contract but he can't officially sign it until 1st of November when the DFA period begins....
No. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Geelong won't be compensated regardless. Similar to Clint Young last year.
Wrong! The club of a departing UFA does NOT get any compensation whatsoever (compo picks are ONLY given in the event of an RFA leaving).Yeah ok so if you want to call him an UFA why the hell would we bother picking him up as that? If we take him as an UFA then that means Geelong will be compensated a pick for him albeit 3rd round maybe due to his age & contract status? Instead after Nov 1st we can pick him up as a DFA which means Geelong get SFA for him! So considering they are the 1's that only offered him a stingey 10 game contract, so #1 I don't think they deserve a compo pick & #2 after the way they dissed our Bomber when he joined us they can once again kiss my ass.... So this is why we will pick him up after the 1st of Nov as a DFA!! If not I will publicly apologise!!![]()
Yeah ok! Honest question though, so how exactly does that work then if he is still technically on their list until final list lodgements where they will have to delist him? If he gets regarded as an UFA when he signs with a new club then shouldn't they get a compo pick? Or if they have already delisted him then he isn't an UFA, he'd now be a DFA? Which they wouldn't get a pick for but we can't officially sign him until Nov 1st?
No. You can get compo for losing unrestricted. However it's usually a 3rd rounder if anything because all the UFA's don't have much worth. You only get compensated for losing "Restricted" Free Agents...

You 2 sure bout this?? What was Goddard? What is Franklin? & What is Daisy? I'm sure either a RFA or UFA gets compensated for losing players?
