Lids - hardly saw him for the first 2 1/2 quarters but somehow ended up with 27 touches, 7.5/10
Raines - Same as always before the injury, not great decision making, always tries to do too much, 5/10

Browny - didn't do a whole lot but is all class, 5.5/10

What did you guys think king did wrong. I wasn't really concentrating throughout the game but he tryed his heart out and battled as usual which is what i think he is picked for. Just wanted to know what kind of player he is in the team for, becuase when playing on Shannon Grant he did look a bit out of place.

king was ball chasing, he should have tightened up once he had a few kicked on him, but continued to play loose. there is a time to be attacking and a time to stay close and generally let the team down.

When is Nathan Brown going to give you guys something? He needs a swift kick up the arse IMO. Everyone knows his broken leg means he'll never be the player he was but his 'efforts' at stages today were abysmal. He refuses to chase and I've never seen him put himself in the line of fire if he might get hurt.

Yeah Tambling made a few blues but he busted his backside all day. I was really impressed with his workrate today - it'll come for him.

I was at the game today and i do not see how u have rated King in playing such a bad game i thought that he played at worst a servicable game at least he put his head over the ball and game us some run. Unfairly rated

In depth look at the game and players:
Deledio - The second half showed that he must be played in the midfield more often. We were killed all day in the centre clearances and deledio must be there to use his speed and has size about him, unlike tambling.

Tambling - Continues to try hard but just doesnt have the bulk to play in the centre just yet. He would be much better suited to a wing as he seems to be improving with his run, just gets tackled too often from the centre bounce.

Simmonds - Thought he started well but then definitely dropped off and was totally outclassed. At 29 yrs old now, we must recruit a ruckman this year in the draft.

Foley - As usual tried hard but was clearly beaten by rawlings who wore him like a glove. Wallace should have tried putting him in the fwd line for a while to see if he could crumb a few goals cause we sadly miss a crumber.

Newman - His usual self, always trys hard and is a true leader. If we are going to move foward as a club, this man must be put into the centre square. He is strong bodied, has great skills and has composure which many blokes do not have.

Thursfiled - Was brilliant. Kept thommo quiet and for two weeks now, has been very solid. Will only continue to improve.

King - Hungry as usual, if only we had more tough nuts like him. Made a few skill errors and was a little out of his league againstr grant in that second quarter. Also believe he should be given more opportunity in the centre, possibly as a tagger. His toughness could give us a few more clearances.

Pettifer - Pathetic today. If it wasnt for his good game against calton, he would definitely be dropped if the coaching staff were serious. Seems very slow at times, and still doesnt work hard enough. His aimless bombs into the fwd line typify our delivery to our forwards.

Moore - Thought he looked quite good. When put onto jones, nullified him a little. Handy, and is beginning to become part of a useful backline. Although 20 goals were kicked by north, it was more so our midefields fault then our defenders (and the umps in the first quarter)

McMahon - Disposal was poor. Definitely wasnt worth pick 19, opefully he proves me wrong.

Bowden - Some poor decision making. Should be moved deep forward to use his class but did look uite slow tonight.

Polak - Continues to battle hard but needs to be given a position so that he can improve there. Definitely must be given centre half back.

Hyde - Is a top bloke but the game has definitely gone past hime which is sad. How the selection panel could believe that 5 or 6 blokes in the reserves couldnt offer more than hyde is beyond me. Could be his last game in afl.

Tuck - Very slow, looked terrible. The game seems to have gone past him in terms of speed. A young kid should definitely be brought in such as a connors who has a hard body and a little more speed if tuck doesnt improve in the next few weeks.

Pattison - was ok, wish he had a little more speed. Is competitive and still improving.

Richo - Was his usual self, battled hard against 5 opponents, and they still kicked it to him. Needs to be a little less selfish and not shoot from 50m anymore as he cant make the distance.

Schultz - Thought he was b.o.g for us with deledio closely follwing in second. He showed his potential tonight, and as has been said many times, he should be ff with richo up at chf. The guy is smart and can take a grab.

Raines - Thought he had taken a step forward against carlton where he played more in the centre, but tonight for some reason, wa spushed bak into the backline where they couldnt find him a matchup, and his decisionmaking was back to its poor self.

Jackson - Was ok, in the better few players.

Hughes - Should have kicked three goals, butat least he is showing signs of improvement. A fwdline with schulz in the goal square and him and richo up at chf would look good

Polo - Wish they would play this guy in the centre and no longer as a tagger. That first game where he played attacking footy is how he should be played, not as a defensive midfielder. Its time for this kid to perfrom, was talked up during the preseason as burning down the house, and now needs to show what he can do.

Wallace - thought he didnt make moves when required. The midfield was getting killed and should have been changed, ie newman in there. Hope a few changes are made next week.

Changes: OUTS: Hyde, Raines(injured), a few more on the chopping block, but the coaching staff is too soft.

Windsock, i agree with you 100%, i think too many richmond people look up to him (browny)and he escapes a lot of critisim when he has a bad one.
