Get some games into Palmer, Ibbotson, Warnock, Foster and co!

What is the point of persisting with the old fellas like McManus, MCarr and even M Johnson (even though we was alright today, albeit only in the first half)? They are not going to win us a flag....

Youth will add some excitement to the side. And the kids would have been better than those players today; surely.
 
I'm so sick of people not earning spots in the toughest league in the country. Send them to the WAFL where they can cope Harvs.:thumbsu:
 
Yeah very good point. However, (and i am not trolling when i say this) remember who Harvey has spent 90% of his professional football career under. Good old Sheeds.

It's about time Harvey drops Tarrant to the WAFL. He is a waste of space..waste of a player...does nothing and adds no value to the team. Walks around with his head down...no self-confidence...seems like he's scared and doesn't look like hes interested and doesnt want to be there...

About time they give Campbell or Murphy a go in the forward line...at least these guys would be hungry to give 150% and contribute to the team. Not someone whose running around giving a half-hearted effort.

Are we too Slow and too Old

1. Big bird can't mark so why play him up forward?

2. Forward set up against Colon wood played into their hands by not having fast crumbers.

3. Skill level ordinary - entry into forward fifty not AFL standard

4. Can't afford to play with Macca, Big car, Josh, Mark Johnson& solomon

5. Is Tarrant interested?
 
This is all so true, and it's just like watching us last year, we need to realise that we must try new things (new players) or else we'll repeat 07
 
Our midfield is still our problem.
Same thing that let us down last year an will again this year if mass changes arent made.

M Carr should have been gone 2 years ago
Mcmanus i luv the guys effort but we cant pick a guy for effort when theres quicker more talented players in squad.
Ma Johnson best is passed him just another old guy who sets a good example cant see harvey dropping him though.

If we want a different performance to lastr year tough calls need to be made.

Ibbo,Palmer,and Mayne show signs of being great players
Warnock could prob atleast tap it to our mids instead of to other teams.

Heath Black needs to pull his head in seems to give a way atleast 1 50m per game.
Our defense seems fine an gives plenty of run maybe drop him an say pull your head in or u wont be playing.

An im still pissed at harvey for wasting 2 picks on the essendon guys.
When i first heard about it my initial thoughts were what a waste.

Tarrant is still a better option than campbell an murphy both those guys can mark but seem to be abit slow.

I'm not sure that Murphy will at least give 150% given his lost heart last year.

I thought he marked well today. The kicking was shit to him when he was inside 50 but he took a couple of great marks at half back.

Farmer was leading up to the wings because he couldn't get a kick inside 50. He had a shit game.

If they are all playing well we can, but Macca and Matt Carr even at their best aren't very good.

Yawn. Campbell and Murphy have their careers in their own hands. We need a third tall forward, which is why MacPharlin is sent there. It provides versatility, and if your third forward is decent, then you have them lining up on an ordinary backman who should then be exploited. Tarrant isn't keeping either of them out of the side.
 
Tarrant has kicked what, 6 goals in his last 8 games? I'm sure Murphy and Campbell wouldn't be allowed to play 8 consecutive shit games.

Like Croad he isn't suited to the scrutiny of a two team town. Mentally fragile.

totally agree with OP. A bit of competion for a senior possie might put a rocket up some of those complacent older players. Get the young fellas snapping at their heels! I've don't mind Taz but he had a shocker today.
