A breath seems like such a small thing compared to the Earth’s atmosphere, but remarkably, if you do the math, you’ll find that roughly one molecule of Caesar’s air will appear in your next breath.

And it doesn’t stop there. In the same way, you might currently be inhaling Cleopatra’s perfume, German mustard gas and even particles exhaled by dinosaurs.

And this is why we have to wear masks, could breathe in Hitler molecules.

Every time you smell a fart, particles expelled from someone's anus have just entered your nose.

There's always controversy about jumper clashes in the AFL, NRL, A League and other sporting competitions. Sometimes clubs in matches where there is no discernable clash take the field in some strange clash strip, other times teams where there is a clear clash go out wearing their normal strips and telling them apart is very difficult. One good example was an NRL Preliminary Final in 2019 where South Sydney wore their red and green jumpers and the Canberra Raiders also wore their green jumpers - with a large red sponsors logo on the front.

One interesting piece of trivia about jumper clashes however comes not from sports but the world of music. In the very early 1990s as Sydney pub band The Cockroaches were transforming into children's group The Wiggles, Anthony Field originally wore a green jumper during performances. However, this clashed too much with Dorothy the Dinosaur, so his jumper was changed from green to blue, and that's why there are Red, Blue, Yellow and Purple Wiggles, but no Green Wiggle.

If the Earth spun from West to East like Venus and Uranus the world would be a very different place. The Sahara region in Africa would be a tropical rain forest, while the Amazon region in South America would be a desert. The climates of Western and Eastern Europe would be inversed, as would those between the West and East coasts of North America and Australia.

Hard to tell with Australia
Because of the Great Dividing Ranges and the mountains in NZ
Most of the rain that could fall on Australia mainly falls on the east of the GDR and onto NZ with most of it going into the Tasman Sea.
I think you might get more west of the GDR but still heaps of it will end up in the Tasman Sea.

We just needed the GDR on the West Coast

At the risk of making this a thread about politics, I always found it concerning how there were plenty of attack ads on John Kerry's service from Republicans, while three of their last four Presidents (Trump, Bush Jr, Reagan) avoided active military service.

I've always thought that weaseling out of military service meant those guys weren't as dumb as they appeared although for Bush and Trump John Fogarty's Fortunate Son springs immediately to mind.
