So can someone explain exactly how this creeping works and stuff
Basically you'll occasionally get a crosshair come up on your pokenav (bottom screen of 3ds). This means there's a pokemon in the area that can be seen in some grass. You then tilt the joystick slightly and instead of running you'll start creeping slowly. You then have to locate the pokemon and creep up on it without scaring it off by moving too quickly.

Near the crosshair is a stealth level. The higher this level is appears to determine the likelihood of the said pokemon having an egg move, item etc. Not confirmed, just what people on here seem to be saying.

It's a great mechanic. Completely ignorable if you so choose but I think you'd be crazy to! So much fun!

I've spent around 4 hours wandering the same early-game area looking for a Ralts with a specific move ... and now I found one with Misty Terrain. o_O
Yeah you can get sucked into searching for a long time thanks to the dexnav.

Sometimes you need to just tell yourself to move on or else you'll never get anywhere in the game :)
