Not sure if this has been done so I going for it. After an "interesting" discussion with an Eagles co-worker today he said that us weirdo South of the river docker morons should stay down there!!! I politely told him that I was from the northern suburbs. This got me thinking though where exactly the majority of Dockers supporters live.

I have separated the areas into: -

North North of the river - Hepburn Ave and above
North of the River - North below Hepburn Ave
Eastern suburbs - Midland, Ellenbrook etc
Western suburbs - Peppie Grove etc
South of the river - South above Armadale road
South south of the river - Below Armadale road
Regional WA
Interstate
Overseas

Sorry mods, i'm not so good at this posting thing.
Can you add "Poll" to the thread please

I remember reading an article on this a few years ago, from memory the biggest Dockers stronghold was Canning Vale so a leaning towards young migrant families whereas for West Coast it was some established suburb full of old white people (Maylands, Dianella maybe?). It was based on membership numbers.

Will try and dig it up, appeared in the paper before a derby 5 or so years ago.

EDIT: Well a quick google tells me my memory is a bit shit, this article is dated March 8 2014.

I've put down interstate, but I'm originally a SOR Sharks supporter.

Would be nice to have "Fremantle" as an option.

Ellenbrook is the "other" Freo, I can tell you. Local junior footy team is called Ellenbrook Dockers as well as senior team Eels wear purple guernseys.
The whole suburb is packed with Freo supporters.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest that the newer estates are pro-Dockers, shame it's Ellenbrook though.

What's wrong with Ellenbrook?
It's a great place to live for young families, if you ask me.

About 1km from the centre square :thumbsu:

Should only take me a few hours to get to the game Saturday night (will need to stop for refreshments at the Vic)

I don't doubt it is mate, forgive me my prejudices. As a single mid-20's male it's just very low down on my list of desirable places to live. If I had such a list I mean.
