Then again, what's the bet Richmond win by 10 goals next week, just like Hawthorn did against Sydney in 2014 and we spend the next however many years dwelling on another premiership let slip?

I reckon this is going to be it. Whoever plays next week - I'm thinking Brisbane - will have a terrible game, Richmond will roll them, and we will realise what a chance this is that has gone begging.

Screw the rest of the season, will not be watching tonight’s game or the decider

Yep, same for me. The season is over as far as I’m concerned.

Yeah, I don't see it that way. I think we would've won in 2014. We blew it, there's no doubt about that. If we'd made it through last night, we start firm underdogs against either Geelong or Brisbane next week.

In the end, we weren't good enough. We had a good season but we aren't the best team in it. We could've pinched a flag but that's what it would've been. We were beaten by 4 of our 5 fellow top 6 teams. We weren't good enough against the good teams.

Both Port and Richmond had 9 players with 150+ games.
Geelong has 11.
Brisbane has 6.

To me it feels like Geelong's last chance, I'm very curious as to how they approach it.
Will be watching closely, expect Geelong to get ahead early and Brisbane to catch them up but not quite get there.

Its also going to be somewhat cathartic to watch another side lose tonight.

If we had finished 10th I'd probably not give a shit, I haven't watched most finals for a few years now.
However this year I think we are close and will be top 4 again next year, so I'll be watching the remaining games closely.

Hey guys.

Does your fantastic season mean Ken gets an extension? Or do you still want him moved along?

Does making a prelim give him more credits in the bank or wallpaper over some cracks from previous seasons?

Bad luck about last night but congrats on a great year.

Ken hasn't done enough to warrant more than one year

Hope not. He’s activated the trigger for next year but doesn’t deserve an extension.

Gotta say i can't stand that we've watered down such an iconic mantra like "we exist to win premierships" by adding that shit to the end of it. I know it happened a while ago but reading that shit in the background after last night's debacle makes me a little ill Screenshot_20201017-120616_Instagram.jpeg

I'd prefer Richmond to win

Agree. None are good options, but Brisbane have had the greatest unfair home ground advantage in AFL history this year, and I'd rather see ISIS win the flag than Geelong.

What underpins the Geelong hate? Understand the others:
- Brisbane players are smug, beady-eyed and rodent like
- Richmond are basically fully integrated into the AFL’s marketing apparatus

Stephen Dank association prior to Essendon completely whitewashed by the AFL and media. Thats one.

Geelong? Brisbane?

I don't give a fu** as long as Lynch has his face caved in.

Best result:
Cyclone strikes the morning of the match and Gabba is flooded. Game postponed a week.
Then the game is played, and finishes in a draw, then extra time and still no winner, so toss a coin to see who's the premier.
Also Lynch, Riewoldt, Robinson and Cameron to all have broken jaws and never play again.

The commentators wanting a fairytale flag for Duckwood Dangerflog and the Little Master 🤮🤮🤮

I don’t care much for Rugby but at least the NRL had the stones to strip two flags from the Storm for salary cap cheating. In the context of the WADA sanctions the AFL’s response wrt Dank and The Weapon at Geelong was disgustingly flaccid.

And the Storm are playing for a flag again.

Bombers got a slap on the wrist and are ****ed for a decade.

Since we can't win it, then I'm fine with the pampered boys that had every advantage handed to them winning it over the Victorians. ****ed if I want Richmond or Geelong overcoming the great disadvantage of staying in a luxury resort with their families.

Just adds more fuel to the questioning of the Victorians clubs unearned advantages.

Dangerflog and the rest of those drug taking ducking diving cheats winning would make me want to take a year off football.

Tiges and Bris Im fine with, and hope that is the final.

Anyone but ******* geelong.

The AFL already has its big Victorian club quota for the GF next week. Brisbane will probably get a fair hearing from the umpires tonight. There's a reason they sent Stevic to Adelaide. They know they can rely on him tp get the job done.
