Like how many ****ing years ago I was listening to the media bang on about how good these kids were gonna be in time. They have had Roos the saviour , and a billion top 6 draft picks and a bunch of senior players in like cross , melksham , hibberd , that Collingwood guy i forget.

I can't believe we're entering the whateverth year of persisting with this Sounds of the Game segment. So mundane and offers no insight other than maybe to show that people overestimate the tactical nous of footballers or maybe just the complexity of footy gameplans.

Geelong just keep on keeping on . People waiting for them to fall off the cliff but they don't. Since Blight got there in 1989 and then Frank Costa and then Brian Cook they have done so well both on and off the field. Nobody has won more games than them since 1989, no body has made more GF's and nobody has made more top 4's since 1994 when the AFL set up the top 8 and top 4 became so important.

Yep if Geelong were going to fall of the cliff it would have happened already. Most of their older premiership stars have departed, the only ones left and close to retirement are Mackie and Lonergan.
