You have to admit the Crows have achieved a lot since their artificial insemination. Perhaps having about seven different coaches during their tenure to our three has been of benefit plus the sheer size and wealth and head start given their franchise. Port really needs to pull its socks up. Yes we are a real club with heritage but we have achieved just a few AA over our time in the AFL and one premieship to the Crows three premierships (including the AFLW one) consistent AA nominations and of course their Brownlows. One has to wonder how and why we have been failing in these areas. Is it our coaching choices? Our list management choices? The fact that they are the bigger club with all tbe kudos and attention that receives? It stinks living in a world where that pathetic franchise born of spite is always on the winners list. Karma obviously is just a myrh

I don't think they've deliberately held off, more announced it as soon as he signed. The crows have taken a few eggs out of the Lever basket to secure McGovern.

That seems much more likely. McGovern said on 5AA he was seriously considering going home. But it wouldn't be like the media to make something up to paint the crows in a better light

Personally don't think it will matter much. I expect the Crows to still win easily.

GWS are a bunch of individuals and no match for a great team like the crows.

How Leon Cameron got such an early contract extension is beyond me. They seem extremely poorly coached.

And yet they still finished half a game off top spot despite having a league worst injury run. They can win, especially if Sloane doesn't play.
