I haven’t really noticed but I went up for the 2015 and 2016 games, had an excellent time.

AFL does a lot of back room handcuffing to try and keep the big victorian teams big and profitable and the small teams small and just alive.

It's a managed 'big' and 'small'.

The fact that all of the big 4 + Hawthorn have been in the shit in the last 30 years and are now big again is not a simply swings and roundabouts. Also Melbourne, because of the MCC ties the AFL desperately needs.

All things being equal, at least one of those would have bit the dust by now, like Fitzroy, and North being given the GC deal.

I’ve never been to a members meeting or anything but there is a way to raise issues right?

Like boak comes to port, measurably his strength and fitness grows. We have ways to measure, improve and test strength and fitness. We have a team who is responsible for this.

Skills wise how do we measure ? Improve and test?

Do we have a team that bears responsibility for this?

I’ve cannot point to a player who has improved their skills here.

Nothing in it other than Adelaide is a grand finalist from last year and Melbourne is seen as an up and comer who should be pushing for finals this year.

When we were playing Melbourne in Alice Springs, it was basically a team that was developing vs a team that was only playing there because they drew low crowds.

You want to change the narrative, we need to start ****ing teams in the ass and not being so hot and cold.

P.S. Melbourne will absolutely obliterate Adelaide next week.
