Matthew Lobbe has 10 disposals at 80% DE, 4 marks and 13 hit-outs at half time. At least if he was still on our list we would have been able to play a ruckman when Paddy was injured. Hinkley was not going to take a chance on an untested ruckman but a lot of his selections are "better the devil you know" and he would have played Lobbe even if he was still out of form. Although he looks like he may have played himself back into a bit of form. At least with Lobbe we would not get completely taken apart in ruck with Ryder injured.

Taken more marks today than he did in his last two seasons with us.
