Teams have won away qualifying finals before. Heck: we've been on the receiving end twice, so it'd be sweet to do to Sydney what they did to us in 2003!!!!!!

Sydney at ANZ stadium would be a better prospect than at the SCG, we'd also be going in with no expectation of us winning. Much better than playing Hawks at the G first up.

But lets worry about next week first, I had us locked for the Essendon and Tigers games.......

Not really. Swans are 6-1 at ANZ and 4-1 at SCG. Lost to Brisbane in 2003 PF at ANZ and to crows SF in 1998.

The ANZ stuff is a myth. The only stuff up the swans have there has been 8 loses in a row to the Pies. But they won when it counted - the 2012 PF.

SCG: 149 x 136 m

ANZ: 160 x 118 m

AO: 167 x 124 m

Which of the two grounds do you think is closer in dimensions to our home ground? Which is why we'd prefer to play Sydney there, not some myth about the Swans not playing well at ANZ. Records are made to be broken, and we owe those ****s for 2003.

SCG is now 156m long. After 2 redevopments.

The swans dont play poorly at Anz. They just dont see if as their home and their inner city eastern and western suburbs and lower north shore types dont like travelling out to Olympic Park.

From the SCG home page: Distance from goal line to goal line 151.5m. And they list the ground as 161m long.

But anyway, I just said it doesn't matter if the Swans play poorly there or not. It's got nothing to do with why we would prefer to play them there instead of the SCG and everything to do with a ground shape that we would be more familiar with and would suit our gamestyle more. That's all.

No one likes going to Olympic Park full stop.

Trying to force myself out there this Saturday....

Yeah I must admit I sorta preferred Olympic Park to the SCG area but then I lived on the Pennet Hills line so I think it was closer for me.

I'm kinda drunk because I'm celebrating my anniversary with Mrs. P. But also my 2014 Members Pen has FINALLY arrived! All hail the mighty Pen!

Give or take 50 metres.

It's still a tennis court.

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet (pic stolen from bay 13). This is an ad from the HUN.

I was worried that the crows might end up with a new CEO and lose some of the incompetence we've all come to know and love. This kind of "head hunting" has allayed my fears ;)

I particularly look forward to the exciting time ahead with their new club constitution.

So who here wants to apply and take one for the team? image.jpg

Hell, most of 'em don't like traveling out to Broadway!

Then again, I always hated going out to Homebush.

Henson Park was the best ground in Sydney.

Until they stopped selling the good stuff...

People that apparently love that mob do far more damage than anyone filled with hate ever could.

Given reasonable supply from their midfield the tingles forward line could give the wobblers an absolute smacking today (I will be happy to be proven wrong), and it should be taken into account that the bloke who is typing this thought Angus Graham would tear the Maggie rucks a new one yesterday. ( lol )

Yep & all those in the media writing us off (i.e Hutchy who said our season has been wonky) need to have a look at the ladder & realise how quick it could all change should the top 4 sides drop a game or two in the run home.

Port are still in the mix, we'd be in the top 4 had we kicked 2 more goals against Melbourne. I hope the bye freshens up the lads because getting Bobby in & then Jacko back the week after is massive, we'll be back close to full strength come finals time.
