The Freo win means we're 4 games out of the 8. Given our percentage.

We should be picking for development. The season is cooked. Time to put Boak out to pasture as step 1.
While it’s mathematically possible we should be doing everything to save Kenny’s bacon and send him off with the premiership he so richly deserves, after all he’s given to our club

Cookie you condone the Ginnivan social media post by the league after Hinkley fined $20k by the league for baiting Ginnivan.

Poor Brad Scott sounds just like Ken Hinkley.

Good opportunity to learn, big gap between us and the best, so much youth in the side.

But the Vic media calls that out.

The only reason Brad Scott is still employed is because people subconsciously associate him with Chris. Awful coach, and if Essendon employ him long enough he'll win his 'most games coached without a GF' title back from Hinkley soon. Hinkley's record for most games coached at one club without a GF will stand forever though.

I dont think they AFL posting is baiting. Its a topically relevant joke. With nothing offensive said other than the alignment of a 'goodnight' trend, with the common phrase of goodnight for when youve beaten a side.

It’s 100% baiting through a topically relevant joke. Doesn’t belong on the leagues social media pages if they are going to fine coaches for baiting.

Its only baiting because those Crows fans are sensitive as hell.

Its fine and completely different to what Hinkley did in creating confrontation on the field. If nothing happened on field with Hinkley and the AFL posted a fake picture of Hinkley and a no fly zone picture, no one would've blinked an eye.

Yep. Make no mistake. What the AFL media did is juvenile and tiresome - playing right into the theory that they are barracking for Melbourne clubs against the rest. And we'd all be mightlily pissed if it happened to us.

But the broader issue for me is the crows fans and their President continually pulling out the 'victim' card when it comes to how they feel the AFL is treating them on and off field. And the way the local media, specifically channel 7, jumps on to that victimisation bandwagon. As someone posted yesterday - it was less than 10 minutes into the Seven news FFS - at a time when the middle east is on the brink of all out war over nuclear weapons capabilities, █████ is at war with his own states etc.

That's the context here - the whiny nature of the crows when things don't go there way - a self entitled whining that comes from the very top at West Lakes and backed by the local media.

But what's the bet that the AFL comes out and apologises, as they nearly always do when the crows pull a tanty.

Maybe if Port had the balls it would call out the treatment we cop with more regularity and the SA clubs could provide a united front in what is a consistent boning of both clubs by HQ.

And on the confrontation Hinkley created, if Sicily had shut up instead of coming over all faux tough guy, the incident would have been quickly forgotten. What was Sicily going to do? Bash a 60 year old man?

Sure what Hinkley did was childish, but that's no excuse to compound the problem. Especially from a Tik Tok sooky team like the Hawks who are happy to rub it into teams when they're winning but scream like stuck pigs when they're losing and get some back. Rioli's a prick, Ginnivan's a hero.

Then of course you get the typical AFL hypocrisy of fining Hinkley, ignoring Sicily, then using the clash to promote the Gather Round fixture.

You realise that if we dared to do that we'd get fined, right? There would never be any apology from AFL HQ to us or them ever admitting their own hypocrisy and inconsistencies when it hands out penalties to clubs. Ever.

And I don't want our club going down the 'we're hard done by' public whining path. Ever.

We should focus on the problems on our own side of the fence - the problems that have seen us not contest a GF for getting close to 20 years.

We've tried calling it out and have been told all decisions were correctly given. Then we get bent over even more.
