If they are going to help locals out with royalties I reckon they should play Eskimo Joe's effort for a new song in 2011 that Freo members voted on but rejected, at after games sometimes.

I don't mind it. It starts off with a bit of a sea shanty tune and has that fat horns sound like the GWS' big big sound song has.

I like the tune - for the line - And as the Cup goes up, hear the shouting.

The current Dockers song is surprisingly popular with the kids. It's amazing how we write these things off as terrible but they grow on people.

Not a fan to be honest. Feels very flat and laborious. The horns in the GWS song have a much faster tempo, makes it genuinely fun to sing along. It’s easily the best one along with Tigerland.

We're not playing a real football season here. Just mucking about til Ken ****s off. That was confirmed as soon as the succession plan was announced.

As far as Im concerned the players can fly to Berlin before the game and smash a few beverages. Whatever it takes to have them red hot and ready to go in 2026 when we play for real again.

It's become that because it is made a big deal out of because of the culture shift. 15 years or so ago you wouldn't see the whole team run the length of the ground to celebrate someone's first goal, etc. It was treated as just another thing.
