They were never going to schedule a high profile game tonight. The Australia v Lions game is on.

But won’t stop them telling everyone that interstate prime-time games don’t rate nationally.

We were 6 points up last week at 3/4 time against the Eagles, 17th placed Richmond are 56 points up against the same opposition in Perth at 3/4 time. Just let that sink in.

Our season was well and truly over before last weekend, we had absolutely nothing to play for other than pride. Collingwood have much more to play for.

Went straight at the ball for mine but the AFL will probably want to rub him out. On appeal who knows where it ends up?

If it is agreed that May has gone with intent only for the football, this being in a contest where scores are level in the 3rd quarter and May's opponent likely scores if he wins the ball, then the AFL needs to explain to everyone what May's alternative is. Both coaches expressed the view that it was just two blokes purely with eyes for the footy.

One thing's for certain, there will be plenty of fodder for the endless footy gabfests this week.
