Four games this weekend with a margin >80 points. So what was the rationale for another team again?
There are a lot of teams in the bottom 9 with long injury lists and not much hope. Drop off mentally late in the season when you have no hope of playing finals and modern footy played in stadiums with great conditions ( ie the mud heaps no longer exist) and the oppo score very quickly.Four games this weekend with a margin >80 points. Could've rookied him umpteen times when he was at Centrals. Still looks like he has fitness issues I guess.Dudley would be our best small forward
Slightly slimmer than willieCould've rookied him umpteen times when he was at Centrals. Still looks like he has fitness issues I guess.
Yea I'll be interested to see how Duds looks after his second pre-season at Freo, knows where the goals are was certainly worth a punt particularly with some of the potatoes we've played up forward in recent years.Slightly slimmer than willie
This time of year with teams trying half arsed you’re going to get even more lopsided games.Current odds for Friday night - Geelong $1.01, Essendon $21.00. Even the Eagles are only at $17.00 to beat the Crows.

It’s just not good enough for the paying supporters, there needs less teams or two divisions.
The last third of a season is rubbish, your either competing for finals or given up and trying to finish as low as you can.
Today marks 12 years since this iconic showdown comeback:

If you are a North Melbourne assistant who is about to get dumped, is it helpful to have Tom Morris saying you are highly regarded?
I thought about point 2 yesterday tooRandom thought bubble that has probably been discussed here somewhere...
But, it would be massively beneficial for the club to lose the last 3 games of the season for 3 reasons:
1. It would mean St Kilda are likely to finish above us, they are 1 game behind us ATM and play Rich, Ess, GWS. This means we could threaten to walk NWM to the PSD as we will have a pick before them. I mean there is a chance that WCE or NM take him, but when was the last time a player didn't get to where they wanted in the PSD... Or at least the same state? It's unlikely because I imagine we will offer Butters, Bergman, Georgie and the next 10 1st round picks for him than play hard ball.
2. It would mean we fall into the bottom 6, which means double up games against WCE, NM, Rich, Ess, Car/Mel and Crom. An easier draw for Carrs first year at the helm, and a good season could see us get Butters signature.
3. Hinkley finishes with 6 consecutive loses. Finishes a loser.
