First things first,

Port your ****ing with the worst

Anchors sticking pins in you head

Like a ****ing nurse

Port be the plebs, we be the master

Butters can run

Rick can run faster

No more dockery season end disaster

“Ay , if I May interject you dockers these days are a pain in the neck

Bolton(is due)up front, Clark(AA) off halfbeck

Young(injured)in the middle,

With a bloody good keck!”

Ken 8:10(pm est)we be battling once again

I’m dockers coach and Ronnie’s a friend

I’ve told my boys to trust the process

You can’t coach for shit,

Your face all grotesque

Last three starts

You haven’t won once

I’ve won the last 4

Here’s Your hat you ****ing dunce!
IMG_8914.jpeg

Geez sorry, a bit raucous freo fan

Amiss the Robin, to Treacys Batman

Voss to leave them, with a cap in hand

Dockers to take the trophy on Powers home land
IMG_8916.jpeg

Murph swagger is Mick Jagger

Port will get drastic

Reid to pants the defence

Like shorts missing elastic
IMG_8915.jpeg
(Reid kicked 4 last time we met)

Like the rise of ports nightmare come alive

Dockers sailing with the wind

Let’s see who’s going to survive!

Haven't beaten Port at the Adelaide Oval venue. Last year was the closest we got. Last win at Adelaide Oval was the 1pt win (Chapman point save) against the Crows in Rd 1, 2022. Haven't beaten Port in Adelaide since 2012.
Yeah this is the year of breaking hoodoos
And writing the wrongs of seasons past
Will be a good dry run in case we have to go back in the finals and play the cows

Sometimes these types of records don't mean much IMO. How many of those times were genuine upsets?

Maybe around the 2013-2015 era but we played Port in the last round in 2015 and rested half our best 22 - West Coast could beat any team in the AFL if they did that.

Didn't play them in Adelaide in 2022 I'm pretty sure.

They would've been better than us pretty much every other season. It's not a Carlton situation where they could seemingly be bottom and us top eight and they'd still be competitive against us and maybe even win with a dodgy umpiring call.

We’re safe as houses for this one.
I’ve heard Kenny’s farewell tour posters in the change rooms have the port v suns rd 24 clash circled.
Also heard whispers of a Coke Zero promotion and greyhound racing at half time organised for the rd 24 fixture.
Daddy has told the kids to keep it bruise free until then

I warn you, I will be attending this game.

My run of games attended includes Bombers in Melbourne last year, Melbourne this year, Carlton last year in gather round, and multiple Port games we have lost.

My one win of the last 10 games I have attended is GC during gather round, a few years ago.

I will be confident of the victory only once the final siren has sounded.

I think we have past that but it’s not nice is it!
I was at the bombers last year and saints this year in vic.
But watched a good win in the Barossa against the tigs.
That saints game early in the year had me one foot out the door of being a supporter

I still have scars from the Melbourne game, and it is so frustrating we can't fix our centre clearance issue.

I need an easy win in a game I attend to accept the club has gone past our previous failures.

Port don't have big midfielders or a dominate ruck, so we shouldn't have an issue although I am still nervous if Serong gets tagged, with Young out.

I had a friend that stopped attending freo (and scorchers) games a few years ago for this reason.

This friend has actually attended around half our home games this year and hasn't seen a single loss.

Hopefully your luck changes.

My view is that it gives motivation to change the pattern of results.

There's probably no basis for this thought but it's not as dumb as the people who believe in "Dockery".

Unless 'Dockery' is repeating reasonably recent results (i.e. earlier this year), I agree.

For example playing reasonably good footy for a month or two then out of nowhere playing absolutely shite would be typical of this season.

Thing is on most occasions we haven't done that for a full game and have been playing opposition rubbish enough that we still win. Tbh the Carlton game was a good example but it lasted a half.
