Ohhhhh god! :o

I don't know which part of the article to quote as being the worst.

A disastrous pre-season tour of North America concluded yesterday with a 4-0 thrashing inflicted by DC United in which the English side had to borrow kit to clad their patchwork team of youth players and senior pros after losing their luggage during a lightning-storm affected, 27-hour journey, in which they spent much of that time in transit at an hotel near Chicago airport.
As someone who has travelled through O'Hare airport, I can empathise with their plight. When the pilot announced on the PA that we're backed up 120 aircraft on the tarmac I lost my shit. How the fk can you have so many aircraft waiting to take off?

Not sure why Pompey would bother with a US pre-season trip when clearly they're not going to raise the profile of a club in administration. >.>

My luggage got lost at O'Hare on just a regular day*, I can definately see how it could happen on a day like that.

Hammer them for relegation IMO. Theres no way they fill survive the year without being docked points for financial reasons. They are broke broke.

It can happen to anyone, and especially to a team which has no goalkeepers signed to a contract and about 12 professionals players left. It won't matter tomorrow anyway as this team will not be playing in anything but the bottom divison of the Wessex league and that's if we're lucky.

Doesn't matter where they are playing, I'll still support them. :)

if the club is wound up and booted out of the Football League, what happens to the league structure? is a club promoted from League 1 to take their place in the Championship or will it just consist of 23 teams for this season?

Some good (or at least slightly less shit) news for Portsmouth

I'm the wrong person to offer an opinion on that. :p

As long as they continue to struggle (but survive) it's fine by me.

I'm still trying to work out why a team in their financial state went on a pre-season tour of the US!

Go to Spain, Switzerland, Austria or Sweden like every other non-big club!

The HMRC are not appealing the courts decision. It seems (not that I completely understand all of the legal stuff thats gone on lately) that Pompey will be allowed to emerge from administration and can push on towards finding a new financially-responsible owner.

The first bit of good news in an awful long time. :D

Is it wrong to laugh at that Moomba?

:D

The sad thing is we have all the money in the world and will still manage to not get promoted. You should be able to relate to that a little. ;)

I don't think we'll get promoted this season either. ;)
