I'll just assume you're right with Pork Powder's line-up Kane.

As for the team for all South Australians, I reckon you're starting 18 will be very close. I still think that Bassett will be at FB and FF will be one of Biglands, Rutten, Bock or Crowell. If Crowell makes the starting 24, then the one to miss could be young Schuback or Gallagher.

The main reason I went for Basset at FF, is because I think Rutten is better suited to Lade. Alternatively Bassett could play on Chadley, with Smart to the bench to free up one of the FF's you suggested. What do you think of Mattner on Stevens? I reckon Stevens needs to be put under pressure & I reckon it is a great chance to try Marty in a run-with role.

If Lade plays at FF I would start with Bassett but have Rutten on the ready. Smarty is the best match-up for Chad Cornes so he would start IMO.

The move of Mattner onto Stevens is a good one. Stevens is a good player and will take Mattner to the ball, while on the other hand Mattner can put that tagging physical presence that does seem to worry Stevens.

I would start with Rutten at fb on Lade & either Bassett or Crowell at ff, Crowells pace would worry Wakelin or Paxman but i guess they could switch Bishop on to him,
i also think they will start with both Reilly & Schuback on the ground as all week the reps from the Crows have been building them up, would rather tag Francou & James before Stevens,

I was thinking of naming Reilly in my starting 18, but I took into consideration that Ayres is keen to start this game well. Agree Stenglein must get Francou who always kills us. Was mindful of being negative playing 2 run-with players in the middle & reckon Goody/Edwards can cover James - so went for Mattner on Stevens instead, as he hates being tagged.

Great work Kane!!!!!! I did my side today and thats pretty similar to how I lined them up. Must have similar "footy brain".:D I personally think Bassett would be better than Biglands at FF and Rutten should be able to hold Lade. Give McGregor first crack at Tredrea and Hart always plays well when he is matched up on Chad. IMHO I think Clarke will start in the ruck with Biglands coming off the bench.

Stenglein on Francou
Goodwin on James
Torney on Dew
Mattner on Stevens
Hart on Cornes
Stiffy on Pickett

If Thurstands lines up on Stevens we are gonna have fine night indeed.:D

As for the team for all South Australians....
If you talk about Port, and then the Team for all South Australians, aren't you repeating yourself??

With the love affair that our selection panel has with Ian Perrie I would not be at all surprised if Perrie starts at FF. I cannot bloody believe that he got selected instead of Rutten. Hypocritical:mad:

I am off to watch Kane Johnson, Brad Ottens and Mark Jamar if he gets a run today. Should be an interesting night 2nite.
