Would love to have the big fellar back but it ain't going to happen. That would be going backwards from our point of view.

On a side note dont be suprised to see Daniel Wells at Freo next year. If anyone read inside football today it is being mentioned, and i have a sinking feeling Schwabby and co might have an ace up there sleeve.

Brown left for exactly a similar reason Polak is being talked about asd a possible departure. He realised (was told) that he would not be an automatic selection in the best 22 for Freo, and he realised that he would be at some other clubs. More opportunity to play at the top level and establish yourself is a fair enough reason to switch clubs. Brown would be playing a similar role to Polak if he was still on our list.
