also that we are tracking couple of GWS players and Yarran is in the mix but believe that his preference is to stay in Melb

the club understands

Motlop - wont be at Geelong and is being heavily chased by 4-5 clubs and at this stage has no preference and is keeping an open mind
Scharenberg - we have been in constant communication with his management and have clearly expressed our interest however the club have not yet been informed on what Scharenberg wants to do next year
GWS Player - there are two players we are tracking however one player is being chased by 2-3 other clubs, my assumption is that this player could be Hampton, not sure on the other player

On Yarran and Aish my sense is that our level of interest will depend on how the cards fall on the targets listed above

IMO Yarren will stay in Melb however Motlop seems to be the speed and polish that we are looking for

however you are right, first we have to convince Motlop to come, then we have to get the deal done

Motlop and Scharenberg do seem to be the first two on our shopping list

Independent, it's the same friend who is adamant that Danger will stay

however one would assume that if Danger did decide to go to Geelong and we matched the offer then Motlop would come into that trade equation
