Under the AFL draft points maths picks 16 & 35 less pick 22 is roughly equivalent to pick 25 on its own...that's a pretty darn good price for Bennell!

Why? Why would other care to judge? My post was a response to the literal interpretation of your post. If there's an underlying context that I failed to grasp from that post or others that preceded the why don't you just say yes or no. Or was my response spot on, have you been so brainwashwed by the last few years of the Adelaide way, that you forget that guys like Simon Goodwin and Kane Johnson were important players in our back to back successess those many, many years ago. And neither of those blokes were taken anywhere near the top 15.

It's al lright mate, I'm sure that Dmac, Wright and VB will again shine through summer and take up their rightful places in our starting 18 for round 1. Do you reckon Dmac will beef up, stay the same or trim down this preseason?

We already have 9 and 13 - so getting 14 is great ... except we might only have 2 spots to fill through the draft. 14 is left sitting in the corner without a dance partner !! Why not use it on a good player.

Maybe Neale becomes a possibility from Freo - as they need a pick for McCarthy.
