Just been watching a few highlights of Menzel. Is he a pure Small Forward?

Am thinking the long term plan of Charlie in the middle could begin this year if we get Menzel in.

Reckon he'll develop into a forward with midfield stints, like a poor mans Wingard.

5. Pick 13 + Kerridge for Menzel + 2016 Pick

I'd take anything but Option 5, because the proviso for using pick 13 is surely that we bundle picks to get back into the first round with our second pick?

While I believe the crows would be coming out infront in that trade people under rate Kerridge's potential. Probably because he has an injury interrupted year this year but the kid would be very handy for Carlton. The trade probably also lets Carlton trade in a host of players from GWS so it may be a bigger picture trade for Carlton.

I'm with you, the way some are carrying on you would think Sam is a hack, just so wrong and the pity is they will most likely see his "potential" realised at another club. How he wasn't being selected ahead of the underperforming Mackay and van Berlo in their roles will forever remain a mystery to me.

Mate, people (specifically redhorse ) have been saying 'Menzel will be a crow' since August 30. It was floated as a possibility in the newspaper on Sep 3.

Fact is, you said Mackay would be part of the deal and nobody else did. That's your only real point of difference. Doesn't seem to me like this 'Melbourne club' is Carlton. That's unfortunate.
