It's not that I am not posting my picture because I am ugly (I may be,not sure) but it's that it kind of ruins the whole anonymity thing. I don't want someone I know potentially recognizing me and judging my opinions

Plus I would have to respond to threads like that self gratification one with "Never done it in my life, what a disgusting filthy habit" because I would not feel comfortable posting my real opinion if people knew who I really was

I believe you guys who say you're good looking without posting a photo of yourselves. I was a member of this external study group and never posted any pictures of myself and I'm good looking. People who are confident in themselves don't have to prove anything, especially to a group of people they mightn't ever meet.

Yeah, I'd be comfortable meeting people from here and having them know who I am when I post things. But I just don't feel comfortable posting a picture of myself on a forum. Couldn't say why exactly, it just doesn't sit right.

That's strange. On the bodybuilding.com Misc section people post their photos all the time, and that site is a million times bigger than BF and is much more overrun with trolls.

That's because Misc is full of big-headed gym junkie's. It's not as if I am worried about what someone on here could say about me if I post my pic because I assume they would have shown their pic. For example someone I used to play footy with might be on here and I don't wouldn't him going "Isn't that ......... from Colts? Gee I never knew he likes *insert song from embarrassing songs you like thread*"

Same for me. Too many BFers from Perth and Perth is too small. Someone would see my pic and say "Isn't that the guy that keeps stealing shoes from the girl's changerooms?"

Posted pics that only my friends will know me from, don't care if they know who I am on here, still keep most of the anonymity, but don't want strangers in Perth thinking I look familiar / talking to me. As I said, fish bowl.
