I watched most of the game, but was in and out a bit as I had a tradie at my house doing stuff.
Excited about Marsh and Shaz. Hope they play the rest of the year! Fas had really stepped up in recent weeks imo.

Yay Reid! Really happy when he got the first goal.

Oh, and damn I love Swanny. 41 and 3 goals. That's Brownlow form (not that he will win it, just as good as in is peak days).

What happened to Adams? I missed it.

Reported as a corkie, at least initially.

Carlton, the gift that keeps on giving. Twice they've given Reid form as a forward.

On the replay they had a shot of the rooms at half time. An official (didnt see who) say's something to Adams...he appears to say something along the lines of "ït's ok / im alright" with a slight grimmace / nod of the head.
Guessing he picked up the knock early in the game and tried to play through it.

Tough bastard!

Ugly win but has been mentioned its 122:125 now and we should pass them in 2017. They are crap and we shouldn't lose to them for a while. Cripps is a beauty though and Murphy underrated. One of the few who flies the flag for them. Simpson also.

That said were a few things to like

Marsh did a few things to say he can succeed at AFL level. One on one work was great and his pace will become more apparent. Can break lines down the track. He was one I really wanted to see at AFL level because his VFL work has been so good.

Shaz. I have worried about him but less now as he is finding the ball easily at this level. Long way to go but encouraging.

Faz and Blair. Have been a long time fan of both and love to see them do well. Fas in particular had 2 seasons wrecked by injury and getting continuity back into his game. Will improve a lot more.

Swanny will be a chance for the Copeland this year.

Pretty sure he got the corkie in an earlyish clash with Kreuzer.

Carlton tanking? That's a given, it's part of the fabric of their "club" now.

Incidentally, I get the sense that the tankers are once again becoming enamoured of the idea of picking their messiah early in the draft... because their three #1 picks worked out so well for them.

This year's draft is said to be a weak draft anyway, so happy for them to tank.

Shallow. There's a big difference between a shallow draft and a weak draft.

This years top end talent is as good as any we've seen recently, the quality just drops away badly after the first round.

Only weeks ago we were blasting the medical staff for not taking Broomhead of the field despite being sore too.

Were we? I don't remember doing that personally.
Apologies . Didn't mean you personally, on rereading it a few hours later, I sure made it look that way. I removed the quote. And yes ,there was a bit of aftermath when Timmy went for scans and injury was bigger then expected.

Yesterday was a step in the right direction some thing I was pleased with:

Sinclair back in and providing some dash his efforts and disposals have improved and will be good next year.

Fasolo has been building nicely over the last month and one has to ask how far we could have gone with him in all year, comes across a ripper bloke too in the half time segment they did.

Grundy in the ruck was good all day and his tackling and repeat efforts are what keeps him in as number 1.

Swan is a legend and there again when we needed someone to will us on, hope he goes around another year or two.

Reid back in and 4 goals was a great return for him and to get through unscathed fantastic for him, hope he gets a better run at it in 2016.

Langdon had a good game after looking a little flat in recent weeks, he just has a dip and more often than not makes good decisions and can see him being a 200 gamer.

In the VFL I loved Whites game and the goal where he was pumped up showing how much it means for him, hope he gets back as I see him being a guy who will flourish with our best team on the park.
He has all the attributes just need some confidence, as a third or fourth forward would really extend a lot of defences.

From here on out we are a sneaky chance to make it but need the stars to align if we can finish with 2 or 3 wins and trade up in the off season 2016 is starting to look alright.
