They know that social aversion reduces infection ....but at what coomercial impact

IMO the sports should go ahead ...the chances of infection are far less, than us going to supermarkets and having wrestling matches for toilet paper ....trains, cafes ect

I can understand inside enclosed stadiums like NBA ....aren't most Aust sports going ahead?

A vaccine is probably 12 months away. You have to run clinical trials. We won't see a vaccine impact on this season.

The problem is at the 13 day mark another tests positive and so on.

Maybe the players should all agree to voluntarily contract it now, do the 2 weeks and then they are home free, albeit with no crowds. Hell, I'll put my hand up. That way I can go to the footy in 2 weeks

One change that we may see. Price changes kicking in after 1 game as per AFL fantasy. That would make us more comfortable picking rookies with dodgy job security. At the moment it will be absolute rookie lotto. I bet with the irregular schedule of games we will have less rookies playing for a run of 6-7 games needed before culling.

Looks like they're trying vaccines that already exist for other reasons (HIV and Malaria) and therefore the trials should be pretty quick, shouldn't they?

No point saving trades now when the season could be cancelled or postponed at any time, I did that for the EPL and now those trades I saved are useless.

If the season goes ahead I'll be burning through those trades even faster than usual, you never know when the next trade could be your last.

I signed back up to Kayo last week for the Aus vs NZ ODIs and the footy season, since then 2 of the 3 ODIs have been cancelled and now Rd1 is in doubt.

Wish I'd waited a week now.
