Still think theyre dreaming if we get more than a few rounds into the season.
Idiots for even considering it.
One player tests positive and a whole squad of 45 cant play for two weeks which should really be 28 days. Then one of their family members gets it and they have to sit it out for another two weeks.
It just doesnt work. The dumb campaigners just dont get it do they :drunk:
It does seem inevitable that footballers will catch it and then the AFL will have to reassess its response. It's not alone in allowing games to continue in empty stadiums though.

It just comprimises the season too much. Teams that play West Coast when Hurn has a sniffle will benefit greatly.

How do the interstate teams go playing 3 games in a week if two of them are in Melbourne? What they just dont go home to their own bed or family for 8 days?

Yep, I reckon we’ll get a few weeks at the start in empty stadiums and then the season will be suspended indefinitely...
Talk of front ending the season before the "peak" of the virus in April- May. What happens after that? Does the virus automatically go away? Based on the rhetoric, it would appear a lot of people think that is the case. This ain't going away until there is a vaccine. Simples. premier league has been suspended. NBA suspended. NHL suspended. Champions league suspended. NRL will inevitably be suspended after today's announcement by NZ. Warriors simply won't be able to travel. Just start planning for 2021 already, and hope there is a vaccine by then. Anyone that thinks this will be better in 2, 3, 4 months than what it is now is clearly dillusional.

This will run its course, I hope our WA premier closes our border soon.

The World Governments are hoping to do is this, CONTAINMENT
Then the heath sectors are not over run, this is their policy.

**** it. Its now of never for mid price madness. Rookies will be confined to the bench as much as possible.

There has been a lot of talk in the media about this virus but very little about its potential and significant impact on SuperCoach.

If the season is shortened - which seems a very likely outcome - how might that affect SuperCoach strategy? Could we be better off adopting a MPM approach as less time to watch rookies rise in price?

interested in thoughts on what really ought to be front page news

My tip is that after round 2, tv viewers will drop off signicantly because of the lack of atmosphere and the season will be suspended for a period of week's.

I had a random thought .

We could get 60 plus of us kents together and play a game.
The old kents who can't run or anything can be CD and do the SC points for us.

:moustache: .

Carry on.
Can I be the KOTD administrator :moustache:

Well since my team already appears to be in carnage, I reckon I’ll just go for early points with my side. Mid pricers all over the park. No rookies.

50k is mine.
