Dumb footy and bad kicking, personally I would of rather Hooker play before Hardingham, Kyle has me worried at the moment.
Melksham was terrible in all aspects of his game.
Really missing Zacka and Stants.

We ran them well but in the end we missed key players in the middle to support Jobe. Well done to North too good in the end. Kiss finals goodbye and hope the training staff know what they are doing, because next year I'll be after blood if we fall to injuries again.

Midfield depth exposed, as simple as that. Missing #2, #3 and #4 from that midfield, and we don't have a #5 onwards. Get Caddy, get more Lees and Howletts, get a Pearce, Moloney type and the depth will be there. That way we're not relying on mediocre triers like Lonergan or kids like Melksham who aren't ready. Our top end is good enough, but we've got nothing else.

It may have been only 24 points but i never even felt we were in a chance with the way we were playing..
Fletch, Hurls, Watto and Belly were all terrific but that was really where it stopped/
I think Healy's comments were spot on about our lack of firepower through the middle-even with Stanton and Zaka back i think we need another kwality outside runner-where we get that from i dont know but it needs to be done-
Also even though Fletch has proven he can still towell up the oppositions best forwards i think we missed his drive from defence so we need hooker up and firing again ASAP-

anyway, **** off with your talk of effort and all that. they tried. they just weren't good enough. or fit enough in the case of a couple of them, players not really expected to play the key roles they were today. i know cold hard facts like not being good enough are hard to take, and that blaming the umps or effort or something that isn't so real is preferred. but that's the way it is. we were down 3 of out top 5 midfielders. we all know the midfield we have, even at full strength, is hardly amazing, so it's not surprise a midfield basically scraped together isn't much flash.

Meh beaten by a better team on the day. North clearly wanted it more after half time. Still not sure about their gameplan because all it takes is one skill error for it to break down but you can't fault their endeavor.

I was most disappointed with Colyer and Melksham tonight. Not sure Colyer at any stage actually kicked a drop punt. Melksham's decision making constantly lets him down.

Really disappointed in the way we ran the game out considering North were down to one on the bench.

Positives: no injuries
Also I thought Lee looked pretty good on debut.

Watson was really good along with Fletch who kept Petrie goalless.

Going to have to roll the dice and bring back Ryder and Zaka next week. You'd assume Stanton is still at least a week away with the hammy.

We should definitely tank so we can get Joe at a better pick....
