Now I may be slightly biased, but the Demon jumper has the best design and colours going around. I also love seeing the evolution of our guernsey over time, and some of the different clash jumpers etc we've had.

So, here is a thread to post the different jumpers you have, cause I'm sure some of you have some rippers hiding away in the back of the wardrobe. If possible, please post a picture of YOUR actual guernsey, but if you really really must you can post a generic pic of one (but thats not really the point of this thread, I want to see what YOU own).

(Sorry bout the largish images, I can't f**** resize them properly)

To kick things off, here are my contributions, starting with a circa 2006(? I think) home jumper:

NOTE: This is a XL jumper, I bought it when I thought baggy tops were 'cool' and consequently it is too big for me. If anyone has a similar era top that is in the 'M' range, I'd be happy to consider a swap if you've grown out of your old top. PM me if interested.

And here is my other, my pride and joy, a circa late 70s 'Colour TV' jumper, previously owned by my dad, but somewhat cunningly commandeered by me ;)

If anyone has any more info on these jumpers, such as the period when the MFC wore them, how much it would have cost back in the day, etc etc I'd be grateful.

Both my Guernseys are numberless, I can't bring myself to like just 1 player, I feel it does a disservice to the rest of the team :p (as a kid though I had Lyon, Schwarz, and Woewodin on my jumpers. Sadly I can't find these tops anymore :( )

For my next purchase, I'd love one of our white clash tops, I just reckon they look awesome. I'm a tight student though, so I'll probably wait till the end of the year and melbournefc.com store has a sale or something!

Over to you.

I shall dig around for my '00 one. What number did you have on the back?

Sorry for the bad quality. I took it using my iPhone.

If I remember correctly, it's the 2006 home jumper.
It's got no number on it, but it's signed on the back by David Neitz, who signed it before the game that he hurt his neck in and then retired.

This one is either my Dads or my eldest brothers. He bought about 20 years ago he thinks. D33my it looks alot like your sleevless one?? Same era perhaps? Like the BRIGHT blue and Red, awesome colours.

Bought this one before the Port Adelaide game last year. Was signed by J Watts in the shop that same day, exciting stuff I know lol. The other sigs are from the praccy match at Casey earlier this year: Bennell, Jamar, Trengove, Jetta, Wonna, Sylvia, Jurrah, Bruce, Davey.

No. 16 on the back, of course.

Kinda disappointed with 1. the colour (looks quite purple compared to this year's darker colouring) and 2. the kaspersky logo (this year's one is more subtle without the white backing), but of course it hangs proudly on the back of my door.

Back in the day I think I had the No. 3 on the back, the No. 11 went to the next brother down. Both tiny, cbf finding them.

Actually I was talking about how to actually put the number on the back :p Should I buy an adhesive number and just iron it on? Or is there another way?

But yeah, the hardest decision every Melbourne supporters goes through.........9 or 10? :D
