Posting on other teams boards

I don,t know how other people feel but for me it is a complete no no to be starting threads such as we have just seen with the Malthouse success thread and I must admit that I am bloody frustrated as I typed a long and very bitter reply only to have the thread closed when I tried to post.

Although I often look at what other boards are posting I do not ever reply and with some of the shit that gets posted about us it is very hard not reply but that is another story I am there as an observer as they should be when they are on our board.

If people are reasonable and have a valid point there is no problems but rubbish what that Pr--- came up and then to have 1 of our posters agree it is beyond a joke,I did not think we should have changed coaches before the MM.s performance but I can tell you now I am pleased we have Buckley now.

I will not be making snide remarks and talking about MM and Buckley because the club chose what it was going to do and the club is what I support and if the same situation come up in the future I will support the club over Buckley but those who agreed with that ******** posted maybe that should look at what club they support because it is outrageous agreeing with a post such as that.

Has the offending thread gone? I saw it but did not think it looked interesting. Now I feel like you do when you'd like to slow down and gawk at a car wreck but were too conscious of the category of people you'd place yourself in by doing so.

Agree 100% I can never understand why someone wants to see some poor bastards misfortune and I never will understand it.

That thread reminded me of an experience I once had as a kid ...

One day I went to the zoo, and I was wandering around lost when I came to the enclosure of a strange creature. It was short and it had pointy ears and a barbed tail. I went to walk away and then the creature spoke to me. I looked around but there was nobody else there - just me and the creature.

I asked the creature: "Did you just speak?"
Creature: "Yeah, can ya give me one of ya chips?"
Me: "But the sign says that I'm not supposed to feed the..."
Creature: "Well. I'd put up a sign saying I'm starved if I could."
Me: "Oh OK I guess.". I poke a chip through the fence.
Creature: "Cheers mate, what's ya name?"
Me: "Um, my name is 76woodenspooners"
Creature: "That's a dumbass name mate"
Me: "We'll, I'm quite attached to it..."
Creature: "Gimme another chip dumbass."
Me: "No, I'm not going to give you another chip!"
Creature: "Gimme another chip dumbass or I'll tell the zookeeper ya fed me"
Me: "Get lost". I see the Zookeeper in the distance.
Creature (Yelling): "OI KEEPER, THIS KID ..."
Me: "Shhhh ..." I toss in another chip.
Creature: "Yum, they're good chips, why don't ya hand over the packet."
Me: "I'm not going to give you ..."
Creature: "OI KEEPER ..."
Me: "Shhhh ..." I throw the packet over the fence.

Right then I feel an almighty clip behind the ear. I look up and I see the zookeeper hovering over me, his face crimson red and steam coursing out of his ears. He yells at me in rage: "DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS!"

Out of the corner of my eye I see the creature rolling around with laughter, chips spitting out of its mouth.
