My random thought is that I hope everyone posts here in a similar spirit that I do, meaning that I'm giving and taking shit as though I were having a chat with mates at the pub.

Have done my fair share of sniping this year with the likes of Olian , caesar88 LukeParkerno1 and The King! among others but precisely zero of it is done with any sort of malice or ill intent.

It's actually pretty cool that we're all ultimately supporting the same cause but have very different opinions on it.

The board is the safest place I find to let out completely unregulated emotions attached to a sporting club that my rational brain thinks are incredibly stupid.

I wouldn't have it any other way

Agree , If i don't like someone or don't feel I can muck around then I just don't interact , it's all good fun I hope everyone takes it as you say .

Omg the pub analogy is the EXACT way I see it. There is not one person on here I would not happily have a pint and talk footy or life with in real life, even those I disagree with a lot.

The internet is a funny place in that it doesn't allow for intonation, so things can get lost in translation and be received way worse than intended. In the same way that without the soft guitar and luscious strings, Ricky Nelson saying the words "I will follow you wherever you may go" could potentially trigger 911 calls for stalking.

If we all trust each other's intentions then there's no reason we can't all get along through all the disagreements

Its funny. I have the winner of the hawks dogs game running through the finals...hopefully we make a prelim and whoever gets there has had lots of injuries.

I dont think people should underestimate just how incredibly dominant the hawks have been. after round 5 they were 0-5 with a % of 65. even after 10 they were 3 and 7 with a % of 75. They've ended up 14 and 9 with a % of nearly 120. These two sides are really playing on top of the ground.
