Growing up a rugby league fan, the one thing about our game I've never gotten used to or accepted is the 20 mins + time on thing.
I know I'm way, way, wayyyyyyyyy in the minority here, but I've always thought each quarter should be a straight out 30 minutes, and the older I get, the more I like it.
My poor old heart is going to give out in time on one day!

That's okay , but as you say your in the minority . They want that well drop wages , less tv revenue etc

Can't see how it would possibly effect TV revenue or gate receipts (another often quoted reason) for that matter.

They are playing less time so less pay less revenue , don't worry about it

My big call for the 2025 season... and I hate to say it... but I think Freo will win their first flag this year.

Their back-line (if nothing else) has consistently been excellent under Longmuir. Their midfield is the best in the competition for mine. They finally have some quality tall timber inside 50. Their team make-up is trending in the same direction as the game demands (front half speed & pressure at ground level.) And if Hayden Young isn't the best player in the competition, he will be well on his way.
