I would like to see Tippet play more forward, but it will be really interesting to see what happens with the ruck and the forwards. Rohan Papley and Rose look a solid small forward contingent while Reid Buddy and the resting ruck is as tall as we play. Nankervis Tippet Naismith and Sinclair are quite a lot of players competing for two spots.

Don't forget Sammy R who seems to be somewhere around the corner. Will be interesting to see how his inclusion effects the balance of a forwardline which has been reasonably productive. I reckon there's been times where we could really use a lead up forward of his type, with Heeney often having to play a bit taller.

I got young sam in there. I think it will make a huge difference to us to have a strong overhead mark in the forwards. He really does have great hands, and I like his second efforts. I think he will give us great options coming out of defence as well.

All I ever here is he clunks this and that but he really doesn't
Has a good leap no doubt and gets his hands to it but his contested marking is overrated

I think it went downhill, he took some very good contested marks in 2011 and 12 but agreed that since then he seems to get his hands to them but doesnt hold them.

Bloody true re: Plugger! I think most of us are ok with how the Hall deal went down getting Dal Santo.

I think that most of us did. I know I did. The issue was that we couldn't fit him in and when Goodes played on for an extra year I suspect that he knew he wouldn't be getting a game and wasn't willing to wait around.

I wouldn't say you're missing him though; Buddy, Tippett, Heeney, Hewitt, Rohan, Parker. You aren't exactly lacking in forwards.
