So I made a snarky post in that sniper thread on the main board. Seriously, if anyone ever tries to claim Goodes was boo'd because he was a sniper, just show them that thread. Hundreds of posts and I think one mention of Goodes that no one acknowledged or agreed with.

And yet it was obviously all his dog acts that caused the booing.

After spending time on Bigfooty I find myself becoming less and less tolerant of other teams supporters.
Is this normal? Or should I keep calling for St.Kilda and the Western Bulldogs to have their AFL licences revoked for impersonating AFL teams?

Everyone knows the real reasons but no one wants to admit it out of fear of being labelled amongst the racists. Those that have knowledge, empathy and understanding know the truth and so do the ones in our community who are respected and stood by Goodes side and really that's all that matters.

He is our legend at the end of the day, well respected outside the footy world and admired. Those who hate on him with made up excuses are ignorant fools and should only be pitied not listened to.

Playing devils advocate here obviously but I think most of the "dog acts" things with Goodes tend to be more staging/diving than sniping. I could be way off base (and I probably am because I don't agree with their position), but I'm not sure if even his critics think he was a head-high sniper.

Dress it up however you want. Adam Goodes is a bloody champion & it's criminal what many people have done to him.

Goodes' legacy in our game has been & will forever be distorted by pathetic, jealous, ignorant, selfish, entitled bigots. It pisses me off that the hate for him has happened because it couldn't have happened to a nicer, less deserving person. He gives back to his community & is a wonderful role model. But no... The public roles models must glass their partners in the face on drug fuelled domestic violence outbursts or drink drive or support gang/bikie culture or punch people (e.g. port fans) or get in fights or abuse Auskick volunteers or smash equipment like phones & coaches box walls after screaming your head off like a spoilt brat...... No. They are fine. But a proud man who wanted to do an indigenous dance during indigenous round?? WTF?! He's proud of his lineage & will speak up about those that wish to oppress him because of it??

Eddie & co have won in their take down of this man who did nothing to them but beat up on their footy sides regularly. He showed more courage & leadership than any of those who wish to deride him on dramatised & often baseless & false accusations could ever muster. He is strong & he got knocked down for being so. I'm really disgusted & dissapointed in my countrymen & women who joined in. I thought we'd come a long way but obviously not. I lost a lot of faith in people through the last few years. Some peoples true colours come out when mob rules apply. They are weak pathetic scared ignorant puppets who want to hate without even empathising or understanding. They just do. It's scary some of them are our doctors, police, neighbours, politicians, teachers...

anyway Pluggers nephew is playing footy up in brisbane (dont know how old he is) be cool to see him make afl.

The prejudice that dare not speak its name. Goodes was not only a champion footballer and person but a champion for his people. That's why they booed him.

Kicked 15 in a game too I believe, I think he's only 14.

As a stop gap, Id take Dunn. Gives it a crack every time and was pretty much melbournes mr fix it* down back. Can play on all sorts. Good call for a short term solution while Talia, Aliir etc improve. Wouldnt break the bank either.

As a direct comparison to Aliir or anyone else we have in the 2's at this stage no.

Other option could be trying to get Marchbank off GWS as they are going to need picks for a few academy kids in first round only problem is I see Marchbank as more as a third tall.

If we are going to get something from GWS I'd be seeing if Tomlinson likes life in Sydney and go hard for him
