Hey RW, when is it going to show up that I am part of the group that sponsored and who was it that we sponsored? Mills again?
Cool! Sorry if I'm a bit eager!!We haven't heard back from the club yet which player we will be sponsoring this year. Will keep you posted![]()

Just a question and I called the club up but the guy I spoke to wasn't heaps helpful. So I have a membership (1 ticket) platinum seating in the brewongle stand. A lot of games I will go with friends and with that ticket, what stands would be easy for me to get into and try and find a seat with a mate(s). I know I can just buy a ticket(s) in the brewongle stand, but some of my mates as they are not AFL fans may want cheaper tickets.
Basically just wondering what areas I can get into easily
If its Sinclair i will be requesting a refundDelaying it are they ? Must be Towers![]()
Tell us what you really think chumpyRohan Connoly bitching about some shitty gutter sucking reporter getting slammed by the HUN after she displayed a complete lack of ethics by copying their article verbatim, adding in prejudiced information and tanking a murder trail. Bitch should have been locked up.
hmmTell us what you really think chumpy
AlsohmmWhat I really think...
Is it Melican as in 'Pelican', or Mel-eee-kan?
If it's the former, I'm christening him Storm Boy.
Let me have this.
Just my opinion...
This whole thing about supporting the club and not the player/s is just BS. Without the players there is no club, and without the club there are no players. To say that you support the club without supporting the players currently playing there is an oxymoron. And to use this as a reason to player bash is just a cop out.
This is not to say that there shouldn't be criticism of both the club and individual player/s... it is necessary and thought provoking (hopefully). Just that to justify your criticism by saying that you support the club and not the player/s is just a wee bit nonsensical to me.
Once a player (or coaching staff) has left the club, I may follow them with interest, but I no longer support them. I support the Sydney Swans! Whoever they may be at any given time.
As I said, just my opinion...
Season starting and venturing to the main board reminds me how much i hate other team fans on here
I find visiting other boards therapeutic, good to get out of the bubble occasionally and see how other people think. I'm just more selective about what I post.
I agree with the gist of what you say because your conclusion is what I mean when i say i follow the club not the player, obviously support the boys on the list at any given time
I think there is rarely player bashing on here, imo some take anything crtical as player bashing, its over the top the reaction at time, also the blind faith in a player can be a bit much, then when they leave they suddenly were rubbish
I agree that reactions can sometimes be over the top to critiques, but the phrase 'I support the club, not the player' when used in as justification for saying player A is useless/too slow/too old and should be traded/delisted/retired, is what I was specifically referring to.
I'm perfectly happy for people to have their opinion that player A is about as much use as mudguards on a tortoise. It's when they are queried about that opinion about a current Swans player, and they use 'I support the club, not the player' as justification, that I think that it's ludicrous. As I said, I think its an oxymoron and a cop out.
I also think we might have slightly different opinions on what 'player bashing' actually is/means... but that's okay too. Diversity is key on BF, and without it, the place would be boring!I certainly don't expect anyone to change because I have a different opinion, it just annoys me, and I took the opportunity to say so!
