I actually like the Carlton design and ours for that matter.

I am aware of a dispute between the designer of one Indigenous jumper (not for our Club) and the AFL, where the Numpties who run the AFL breached copyright by using images of the design without payment or permission.

Why? Are they all automatically good, or are some not good but people are not allowed to say so?

And if it is the latter, does this protection from criticism apply more broadly, and if so, to what?

I haven't even seen most of the designs so I can't form a personal judgment, I'm just curious.

Yes they are all good. We are not talking about a piece of art or a new suit here... it is a symbol... a symbol that acknowledges the the contribution of our indigenous peoples to our great game and puts recognition in the spotlight.
Cripps, Casboult, Ed and Charlie play for a club whose administration has made some monumental f***ups in the past but that in no way detracts from their support of the cause.
Our guernsey doesn’t appeal to my taste as I’m sure CFC’s doesn’t appeal to everybody... but to say it is so bad that everybody will be puking? Drivel like that makes me want to puke
Disrespecting the guernsey is to disrespect the cause IMO

Sorry Nool, i respect your positioning on this and you most certainly are entitled to your thoughts, but i think that's taking political correctness to the extreme.
I think the Carlton design is ugly, pure and simple, but I don't feel I'm disrespecting indigenous people or their culture by simply not liking the design of a football jumper.
BTW I think ours is beautiful and far more attractive than the previous one.

Sorry, probably should have been more specific.
I can see the likeness to Star Wars and I get that some ppl see dicks and vaginas in places I don’t... and there is a possible reference to a tv show/movie that I don’t get. But to say outright that it is vomit- inducing, presumably because of a contempt for a particular club, belittles the value and importance of the indigenous round.
BTW I agree ours is an improvement

Mea culpa. I said it looked like a Stars Wars doona. Two reasons for that: it does, and I thought it might make someone smile. But you'll note I didn't specify if that was actually a bad thing or not.

I'm sure the Carlton lads would be proud to wear that guernsey. They should be considering what it means.

Knowing Ronke was simply given a defensive forward role in the leadup to the Hawks game and then kicks 7 goals.

An interesting article about the longest and fastest runners in the AFL. Surprisingly Majak Daw just shades Gary Rohan in the fastest speed this year. I would like to see what Ronke's speed is as he sems very quick.

We’ve suffered Dunstalls ongoing negativity for years....but this went way beyond ‘enthusiasm’. Back the underdog? - this was outright wishful thinking for an upset....insulting to ALL Swans.
