Midfield depth, foot skills, goal sense, outside running power.

Personally I would like to see either Armstrong or Jaensch develop in to outside midfielders.

I think he's contracted until the end of next season. If he is Port would want something good for him.

Agreed Menzel started off quite well but has dropped of the pace massively in the 2nd half of the season.

highly doubtful. I expect him to be upgraded to the senior list. With the draft being weak I expect us to use minimal picks in the draft so players like nutter, Riely and Wright should be upgraded.

How about someone like Higgins from the Dogs? Only 23 and has heaps of potential yet his problem is he is very injury prone. If he could stay on the field and actually play in the midfield, he would be an A class player imo but his body always seems to break down before he can really get a proper shot at it.

Depends on how much the Dogs think he is worth. I wouldn't necessarily be against it if they didn't want something ridiculous. What sort of injuries has he suffered? Are they the sort that will hurt him his whole career (e.g. Vince) or are they just unlucky reoccurring niggles (e.g. Mackay)? The latter we can deal with, if its the former then he probably isn't worth the trouble.

Wouldn't give up D.Mac for Shoenmakers. Your suggestion is worse than the Tambling trade.

He's happy at Hawthorn; and he'll play as a third tall / winger when their other KPPs are fit and allow him to - he's doing well as a KPP this year, but his best games are the ones where he can be a bit more offensive and has space to use his speed/fitness and feet properly.
