Matt Thomas - 25 touches

Ah CHee, really interested to see how he goes, play on a hff/wing?

Hope by the end of the year Curnrow isn't playing reserves still, same with danny thing danny is a step above reserves to be honest but then again he is at North:eek:

There's a few playing for North. I've been impressed by what I've seen of Aaron Young so far. Any updates on the North game would be appreciated.

Curnow ended up in the u/18s last year (I don't know that happened as I remember that North wanted to play Luke Peel there and we said no).

Unless he starts to be a dominant reserves player then he will be one of the first delisted at the end of the year.

Curnow was bottom age when drafted, wouldn't be surprised if he got a third year rookie contract for next year, provided he shows improvement of course.

Took a while for Redden to crack the SANFL seniors if I recall correctly

I'd like to see Curnow get every chance to make it. Looks a bit stronger this year so should settle into reserves footy better and push for league.

It sure did and Curnow started well behind Redden in terms of physical development.

Did Moore and Newton go alright?
I think Newton only played the first half. Didn't seem right, physio was talking to him whenever he came off. Lowlight was when he was 30m out directly in front, on the run, and put it out on the full. Looked a tired kick.

redden played league before he was drafted

Ok, thanks for that. Debuting at league level is not really what I was on about. Redden has only become a consistent League player in the past 12 months and even then, it hasn't been as 1st ruck.

My point about Redden be a long way ahead of Curnow physically stands.

Norwood beat South by 33 points, heard that Thomas and Jonas played well.

Thomas played only the 1st half - had 17/19 possies also played at least 15 mins on the half back line in the 2nd qtr ! would have had at least 6 clearances while in the middle - looked really good .

Saw Butcher Jnr at Encounter Bay on Saturday, surprised there's not an outcry from NA supporters that he only played half a game :p
